It's so interesting to hear other renditions of this piece; I've always been a fan of your work ever since I listened to you play songs from the AION soundtrack. I'm gradually making myself learn this piece, but my style is more centric to jazz (7th's, 9ths, and beyond lol). If I ever get the means of quality recording, maybe I'll be bold enough and put a video of me playing it on here. :-)

Awesome! I found this piece perplexing. Harmonically there are so many suspensions etc. that it was often difficult to tell which chord was where.

exactly! I had to listen to it more times than usual just to make sure I had the right harmonies. and even then, I'm sure I ended up sacrificing a few xD I'll justify it as personal flavor haha ;P

oh I just learned there's actually a version of lament at musicnotes but I think it's more for accompaniment. still curious as to what the rest of that version sounds like. maybe I should try to amend a piece to my version if it sounds better ^^
