You need to beat the game with 120 to unlock luigi then you need to get all 120 again as luigi then you can get this last one.

@23chespy His comment was probably before it came out, it was from over a month ago. And there are 242 stars, after you get all 120 green stars as luigi, the Grandmaster Galaxy appears. The comet for it is a daredevil run of it, hardest star you will ever get (or not get)

ok this all happens when you first get 120 stars with mario then get the full 120 stars with lugie and then you are abel to get 1 more when you feed a lummer i think then arfter that you can go to mario and get one more star it is just a littel exter thing in the game

Apperantly, there are videos saying if you get 121 stars, you can find a Luma that is holding sticks with stars on the top (like the once with the sticks with starbits on them) except it is rainbow, and you feed it all your 121 stars, then he makes a new galaxy, and you go through that galaxy, and at the end of that galaxy, you collect a gold DS. Then, the game turns into "Super mario galaxy DS" and you go to the good egg galaxy, but I doubt all that is true.

No, no, no. You see all of it's true except the DS part. Mario Galaxy DS is an entirely different game only released in Japan. If you want it you get it online. You do get ten free wii shop points though.
