i think i got diabetes from watching all that sugar being poured onto the apples. definitely too much sugar for my taste, and it would mask the natural sweetness and flavor of the apple.
@chenxiaozhu123456789 i've never had it before unfortunately. i'm sure it tastes good, but seeing how much sugar going into it is a bit overwhelming. but apple cake is one of my favorite desserts (i make it all the time), and for me, the charm is having the natural sweetness of the apple be the main flavor. i only use 1/2 cup of sugar in my recipe.

@nishnishchan yep it's pretty crazy, most people would underestimate the amount of sugar that goes into it.
