I do find it interesting, and a bit ironic, that a man like Michael Savage, who claims to uphold traditional conservative values, like supporting the military, and being pro religion, would quote, at the beginning of this segment, Bertrand Russell, who is most famous for his anti-Christian views that were written his book "Why I am Not a Christian" and his outspoken pacifism.

I certainly don't claim to believe in the nonsense that religion peddles, but Michael Savage, in his talk show, repeatedly proclaims that religious identity is important, and that a lack of religious belief is one of the culprits behind this country's downfall. I find it funny that he then turns around and justifies his worldview by pointing to a prominent atheist's writings about how it is correct to say that certain people are morally superior to others.

The problem with Michael Savage is that he makes it appear, in most of his rhetoric, that the secular side of the fence has nothing of worth to contribute to society, and that secularism is responsible for its degradation, and yet, by quoting Russell, he demonstrates that the secular ideas have a lot of merit.
