  • R.I.P clare

    god bless her......so sad :'(

  • @ColibriAnna08 The reality is that all sun exposure increases the likelihood of skin cancer. Vitamin D is one thing, but managing exposure to radiation is another. People with tans can have low Vitamin D because the sun has damaged their skin's ability to produce the Vitamin. Lastly, there are countless extinct species which also developed under the sun.

  • Heartbreaking. Some people will do anything for the price of "beauty".

  • If the sun is so dangerous, how did humans survive for the last 350,000 years on planet Earth? Why would humans evolve a mechanism for generating Vitamin D from sunlight if we weren't supposed to be exposed to sunlight in the first place? Tanning in moderation is not dangerous! Dermatologists even recommend that victims of psoriasis and eczema tan a reasonable amount!

  • @ColibriAnna08 Tanning is dangerous and UV treatment of psoriasis and eczema is professionally managed and not the only method of treatment.

  • @ColibriAnna08 but u cant be in a tanning bed for hours...its like the sun being right on top of you...UVA and UVB rays can kill you, obvioulsy cause thats how the girl in the video died...its good to get some sun,but not to be basking in it every second...are you really that stupid to even make that comment?

  • Wow, I used to think that tanning was healthy if done in moderation, but I'll never go back. I would only go once a week. My aunt died of melanoma at 24. This poor girl died early. I just turned 23. I have so many goals and dreams I want to achieve. I'm never going back again!

  • Skin cancer doesn't run in the family. My mom was disappointing with her appearance and tanned. She died of melanoma. I was 9

  • R.I.P. Clare Oliver God Bless.

  • R.I.P Clare

People should heed the warnings, tbf. It's their choice, but the reality is you need to be comfortable in your own skin...there's so much emphasis today on being brown or having a tan, especially in the media and magazines. And worse this is hitting young girls who are frequenting these tanning places without the knowledge of the implications of doing it. If anything this is what needs to be put out in the media more to prevent such needless deaths of youngs girls.

  • I was on the tanning beds this morning... Dont think I will be doing it again. Im 19. Poor girl :(

  • I always wonder who (out of all the ppl i know who tan) is going to hear the news first...

  • very sad, she's not forgotten.

  • omg asian and tan? don't asians want to be pale?

  • Her skin is naturally olive and beautiful anyway...It sux that someone as beautiful as her gets this while you goto queensland and see 50 year old grannies who get away with looking like leather

  • I'm actually so scared now that I'm never gonna try and tan or sunburn again. Ever. I don't know why people still do it. Its not healthy.

  • I go tanning really seldom but I went tanning today cause it´s pretty dark here in the winter but now I don´t know if I will continue to do it.

That´s so sad that she got cancer at the age of 25.

  • omg is she still alive? poor girl had so much to live for!

  • poor girl she could hv been somone so much potential this is so sad i mean she doesnt no when she was going to dye

im spanish i already have a natrual tan who cares i mean u dont hv to be perfect never go to a tan salon get a spray tan i thinki this is makeup sparyed on to your body witch looks like a tan without thedanger think about it there 2 dangers health and life think about it the tan salon just burst in to fire ur in it and traped i am teriifed of tanning salon

  • wow she is hot! she didn't need a tan at all. I hate how society does this. makes girls want to kill themselves to look "pretty". Natural is always better.

  • I tell you one thing. The chief exectutive guy at the Body Bronze place is a red head and redheads do not tan, they burn. Idiocy all round. Very sad and very stupid.

  • yes you have a point, as a ging i agree. and idiocy especially because FAIR PEOPLE are BORN FAIR and TAN PEOPLE are BORN TAN. IS THIS CONCEPT SO HARD TO COMPREHEND? if you are meant to be tan, YOU WILL POP OUT OF YOUR MOTHER'S VAGINA TAN. YOU WILL TAN FROM THE MORNING SUN. AND LIKE IT.

  • @Aueneye I am a redhead, and in the past I have tanned to a golden brow (and got lots of compliments). However, I prefer not to bother and avoid these risks - Claire was no redhead. My daughter is out today in factor 25. Sensible girl!

  • Fucking bullshit solariums. RIP Clare.

  • This is so very sad.

I used ti use sunbeds very frequently and it scares me to think if i will have any repercussions from using them in the future. I havent used them since January thi syear and i feel so much better. I may be bit pale but who cares. Spray tans are just as good these days.

I hope people heed the warning here. and God bless that sweet lovely girl

  • god bless u,my brother died of milanoma cancer ..he ended up having bone cancer ,tumour in the brain and lungcancer ..all from milanoma ..miss you john x sis

  • she had great skin, pale rules!!!

  • He says don't Tan once every 48 hours !!?!?!?... damn if you damn as much as that, you would end up looking like a Turkey Dinner!!..The guy running this Solarium needs to get some Moral Conduct and stop looking at the bottom dollar and show some human integrity.

  • she is incredibly inspirational. RIP Clare

  • I will never go to a solarium. Her story touched me and taught me a good lesson.I am so glad she told others about the dangers of solariums. Rest in peace Clare. What a beautiful woman she was.

  • Australia Salutes You. Please, Rest in peace Claire.

  • Thanks for that I saw this video. This is very scary. A lot of people dont know have dangeres the solariums is. I even dident now have dangeres the solariums was. I took it a lot every week before, but I was lucky. When we speak about sun: have everyone heart about Melanotan? and if is safe too take? It`s a drug that we can be suntan of.
