yawn. half of americans consider homosexuality a sin and the vast majority oppose same-sex marriage, so stop whining and blaming america. as nations become more modernized and rich, liberalized social values, animal rights laws, and anti-discrimination legislation naturally follow. that's why homosexuality is tolerated in developed west europe while it's still taboo in less developed east europe.
