All i want to know is how u hold it there once its up all i can do is bring it up in 1st and blip the throttle until it runs out of revs and thats on a fazer 600 i dont like the idea of the clutch caus its a lot easier to flip and its no good for the bike in any way and i cant seem to get the feel for using the back break. Any one got any ideas how i could keep it going ?
just a question, isn't easier to just go first gear, accelerate gently and wait for the bike to come up a bit to start? I mean if you do like he says, close the gas and give it back in a second, the bike will probably flip back.
Low air pressure in rear tyre will add to smoother wheelie`s about 20 psi is good and go for second on the lift around 40 mph ish faster is smoother and easier .
when you have the hang of that slide on to the tank and get your legs over the handle bars hold on tight and do a real wheelie. like mine much more fun ........!!
He forgot mention about using the rear brake. Always keep your foot ready, letting go of the throttle is not always going to save you from going beyond the balance point and on your back.

how to ride a wheelie, for most of you retards: tie front end of motorcycle to friend's pickup, have him drive around.
