  • The emotions in this episode runs very deep. Fantastic writing

  • 1:43 always gets to me. so sad. This is one of the moments in OFAH where the acting and writing are off the chart.

  • Thank you so much for putting this on here, my favourite episode it gets me every time a fitting tribute to the genius writing of John Sullivan, thanks again x

  • It always brings a few tears to my eyes when Del invite Uncle albert out to an indian take away. The trotters fictional familiy yes, but hearts of gold.

  • and a another legned was born :)

  • 2:13 Mozart's Clarinet Concerto.

  • OMG David Jason is so brilliant here. Wow.

  • When people ask who is better grandad or Albet I want to punch them!!

They are both legends and I love them both but at the end of the day its not about which one is best its about the great entertainment they both gave us

    RIP Lennard and Buster!!!xxxx

  • Nice ending

"Oi - I've just phoned the mission, they've got a bed for ya"

    "SHHHHHH..."

  • No one would know and understand this episode unless they have lossed their Grandfather.

  • This is one of my favorite OFAH Eps. The introduction of Uncle Albert, the emotional storyline and real life death of Pearce, and Del's "I don't know how to be anything else..." speech. If ever you needed proof that OFAH was more than a comedy, this episode (among others of course :P) is a great example.

  • I'm nearly 22 and I had to fight the tears when Del finally came through :)

  • One of the saddest episodes, RIP Lennard Pearce and Buster Merryfield.

  • @MeBenHalpin Bro I too feel the same way. 80's Eternal - 2000's can get lost.

  • @jhangirk Couldn't agree more mate, i was only just born here, but lovethe 80's and especially Only Fools And Horses.

  • "Well can't he kip in the back o 'that?

  • Though Granddad may have departed, I'm so glad that Uncle Albert came along, otherwise OFAH would have never been the same at all.

  • @jhangirk Yeah sort of needed that third person in the series to keep it a float and Buster Merryfield as Albert played the part fantastically.

  • Beautiful.

  • What a plonker, you really are, Rodney.

  • 1:58 almost made me cry. It was such a beautiful, sombre moment.

  • how do you upload these

  • one of the best moments, starting with "you've changed Del...."

  • @violethigh77 : Oh yes, I couldn't agree with you more. What a classic speech from Del Boy.
