  • Nepal is a mirror image of India..filthy corrupted country with no means of survival.

India is reponsible degrading nepal to it penury state of today.

  • this is all beacasue of corruption by the politicians bitches....

  • So sad!

The awful economy is hurting immigrants from poorer countries everywhere.

  • stop this bloddy revolutions to go faraway from country........

  • this is all happend because of globle econommy crasis and our goverment leaders are also not good

  • this all are going on coz of fucking bitch called politician

  • these clipping just informed us about foreign remittance n it's effect in da nepali economy. the world's facing one of the worst recession. n our finance minister convinced the ppl that nepal's not gonna get effected . this is wt happens wen u make an engineer a finance minister...

  • I also lost my job recently, now its getting difficult for me to carry on my studies.

  • This is an aspect of the global economic crisis that has not yet received the attention it deserves. Some developing nations rely to a lesser or greater extent on remittances from overseas workers. I'm pleased that Al Jazeera is covering this issue.

  • In the NY Times and WSJ there have been articles reporting that even illegal Mexican immigrants are going home.

  • It is a shame that Nepal needs so much work in Power/Water and other basic services but the government has done very little. There should be jobs in Nepal for the Nepali and not shipping them to the Middle East fort cheap labor.

I love Nepal and wish the best for the people.

  • they have 16 hour power cuts some days.... my husband's 86-year old grandfather is gravely ill and my FIL has been unable to go to their village in southern Nepal to see him because of strikes and conflict - when I was there last summer cars were waiting for hours to get gas.... I love Nepal but so far the new gov't hasn't done any better than the monarchy it seems.

  • such a beautiful and fertile country and they have to go work in the desert ...this world is upside down
