Hey robert, the gold/rainbow esk shining parts in the suit are those stickers or something else? If so do they come with the kit or did you have to purchase it separately somewhere else?

It's funny how I commented on this review over a year ago (with an old account) and I just got this kit today. A few months ago I did end up watching the ovas and while short, I really liked them and I'm not being very original when I say that IMO it's the best C.E. animated thing (I wish they adapted Seed Astray into a full series though). Anyway, after watching it, I think that Stargazer truly is a leading gundam, at the same level if not much more than the QAN[T]. I hope someday it gets a MG.

An interesting review as always. Do you know if the green parts 'glow' when the model is lit by a black-light. If they do glow, I would imagine that would be quite the sight.

Yeah the gun sucks...in the Gundam Seed Destiny Z.A.F.T. vs Alliance II Plus game the stargazer gundam is pretty much useless... but Strike Noir had incredible firepower lol why am I talking about a game...

I have this kit!! Got it for $20 at China town, but it didn't have a ticket, those basterds!! Anyways, I recommend this kit, it's very unique, and it looks great! I also have the 1/144 Strike Noir, which is also a bang for your buck kit.

Having the Gundam with the green rings on the turntable sorta gives an optical illusion that makes it even cooler...

i agree its one of the best 1/144 ive seen so far, for a gundam having a water gun as a weapon, and no shield its quite impressive

I like the Stargazer kit too, I bought it a long ago and it is one of the cooler gundams to have. Problem i had with mine was some of the stickers were annoying to put on and odd ones like the front skirt on the right side wanted to come off slightly so i super glued it... As to your G Vs. G comment, check out Gundam Seed Destiny Omni vs Zaft 2 Plus for the PS2... Stargazer and Strike Noir are unlockable in that game... frankly, play as Strike Noir is better than Stargazer

It's really ironic how good I think this design is by looking at this gunpla, considering it appeared in some minor ovas of the succesful Cosmic Era for just a few minutes, while other designs that I really don't like (SF) were of course prominently displayed....

Anyway, it was a really good review as always. In fact, I think it's the first review that actually makes me want to buy a model I wasn't even considering in the first place.

best part 2 review EVA!! due to its postures & mobilities & the modeling u did was very very good,it looks just like in the books where the kits stand slanting a bit from a 30 degree front view (4:50)

final thoughts: we STAGAZERS FANS will really want the producer to produce a MG METALLIC COATED STARGAZER GUNDAM !!

i don know about u rrobbert,but to me strike noir is not equavalent to stargazer,except for their color theme-contrast

I can very much attest to its awesomeness...Easily one of the best proportioned and well-made smaller scale model from the SEED era. only 2-3 seamlines that are really noticable, but they dont really take away from the whole picture esp with the shiny stickers on. Thanks for the review.

There's one more pose you missed; you can lift the ring above its head to make it appear like a halo. In this pose the green rings would also have better mobility having no obstruction in the Stargazers backpack.

I never buy 1/144 kits, seriously never but I really love the Stargazer's desgin. I have almost given up hope of ever seeing this kit in MG form.

Should I really break my traditon of 1/100 kits and over 30 MG kits to for this one...........I just don't know
