Epiphones are of decent quality for their price, but are made in China or other countries. Gibson guitars are made in the USA with "first pick" woods. id say get a higher epiphone, custom is a nice one. ive only got an epi les paul studio. i changed a couple things, added a bit, but it sounds great. tuning will stay perfect for over two weeks in normal climate conditions, and the tone and sustain are great. they dont compare to my friends gibson and 100watt marshall, but its alot better than some "highend" guitars ive seeen out there lol
