you are waaaaaaaaaaayyy too late and it was nothing to see mate,try seeing the sun as a yellow dot. Now imagine it being filled in with a black dot from one side to another... that was all,in sweden it passed over but only 40% of the sun was covered by the moon,so we didn't get any dark atleast that is what the human eye saw

It's funny because I've been up sence yesterday,I didn't sleep anything this night and the funny thing was,according to the sketches,the shadow was supposed to come at 10-11 am and yee there was no shadow then,WTF!?

well it did past but only the 40% of the sun was cover so for the human eye still the same...if you zoom with a camera you could see the moon.

it's only on the edge of canada I checked the site so where I live in canada probably won't get it... It's dumb I got all excited for the eclipse and only a tiny portion of canada gets to see it. :P they should have said "The edge of canada"

Hold a piece of paper in front of the sun so it shields your eyes and u can still see the moon block it out, its the cheap way to watch 1.

The website says it's gonna "sweep across Earth in a narrow path that begins in Canada's northern province of Nunavut and ends in northern China's Silk Road region at sunset." So North America, unless you're in the arctic circle you won't see it. Yay. And oh, hey NASA, Nunavut isn't a province, it's a territory, but at least you didn't call it a state! i'm 19 and i already saw a lot of them.. it's not that rare.. i think there was a total solar eclipse in '02 or '01. And a lot of partial solar eclipses and lunar eclipses... we'll all see at least one in our life time so don't worry
