Both NK and China lost around 730K for 3 years fighting at the way to calculate the me who died or missing in each division. SK and UN lost 260K. for attacker like NK and china is not bad. 3:1 for attacker is average.

Human waves? have you seen so successful "human waves"? I know Americans did have one, the "Pickett's Charge", that thousands of soldiers charged in unit of regiment in an open ground in front of hundreds of Union Cannons, Confederate lost over 7500 men just within a few hours. And the British also had one, the Battle of Somme, 60000 brave british soldiers fell in front of German Machineguns within one day.

ummm for one. large areas of china already conquered by mao zedong, were sending millions of chinese peasants to russia, and to do this human wave advance, and in several battles, like the battle of tomahawk, old baldy etc. tens of thousands of chinese casualties would occur, while the allies ,may take 100 dead and a few hundred more casualties.

china is always human waves. and it does nothing to them to not do it, since 1 6 of the world comes from their nation, plus in the korean war, they also had the north korean armies to boost their infantry armies, and soviet artillery, aircraft, and tanks for fire power. the soviets did this wave tactic as well. the russians at first claimed they lost 7 million, than they saw it at over 26 million. others are putting it at 50 million, and other more modern sources may go to 100 million.

Three-quarters of a million are the units that did the fighting, While 1 million n one quarter are the units are the units that maintin supplies to the front line. China was poor at the time so most of the supplies was hand carried.
