I really want this game lol. I love to cook and have made a lot of the foods on this game (not nearly a quarter of them through.) I was surprised at some of the ingredients but I realized that they were the REAL traditional ingredients. Like instead of just buying the shredded Mozzerela, you buy it fresh and cut it. It will be a good experience to learn to cook using natural ingredients. :)
It's not a "video game," per se. It's a cooking game, but I guess virtual cookbook is a pretty good way of describing it, yeah. It takes you through everything you need to know to make each recipe and it's really nice and simple to use.
I love this game, lol. I play it all the time, just sitting there going through recipes. I'm like, "You know, I kind of want to make this recipe. Too bad I don't have the ingredients... Oh my God, lasagna has 760 calories???"
i can't cook worth a shit but when i got this game i cooked like 4 dinners for my family and they could not even belive i got help from my ds. i love where nintendo is going with this. keep it up nintendo
They didn't wanna make a game, obviously. They dare to be different. Since their console's features are so cool, they decided to utilise them to teach things to people in a fun, interactive way. They make real games too. The nerdy ones like Final Fantasy.
In what way do they fail? In November, they sold - in the US - 1.57M DS's and 2.04M Wii's. In comparison, the PSP sold 421K and the Xbox 836K the very same month. If that's failing, then I want to fail. All the time.
that's really cool. i like how it talks while you do it, my cook books are a mess , sticky finger prints from flipping back and forth trying to figure out what something means. plus picking what country your food is from is awesome, and when you don't know what a thing is you have a picture of what it looks like. I'm totally getting this, start cooking more, different things..
Yeah I really like the direction nintendo is going in. Making regular games but also coming out with games that teach you things in a fun way. Im glad I have my DS instead of a PSP.
I love this , and has a rom
but its quite big size for NDS rom (262 MB)

Women should pick this game up so they could actually learn how to cook instead of buying burgers and processed food.

I want to get this game! It might finally be able to teach me to cook and stop surviving on instant food.

Huh. It's all voice activated so you don't even have to look at the screen.

And that's why nintendo fails. If I wanted to learn something, I'd use google.
