hi matthew, i can't see your strumming. Can you show me the pattern in terms of up, down, up, down. I'm a beginner so still struggle to figure your great song.Thanks :)
Having been privy to the work of PP&M since the age of six via their live concerts,and although I was obviously unaware of it at the time,I recall when they were still 'road testing' this gem before committing it to vinyl. Little did I know the impact that it would have over the subsequent years...four generations gathering at their live showcases...some hearing it for the very first time,or some like myself,recapturing a moment in time. Your on the mark interpretation is appreciated.
@philcrooks Yes! I've recorded it already, but my version might not be very clear – I don't remember. If you take a look at it and tell me how I could improve, I'll do a more educational take two for you, no problem.
Matthew i dont want to hinder your project in any way i am still enjoying listening to you and learning some of the songs from RUS but i wondered if you could help me with Puff, i cant figure out which chords i should be playing on the word honnalee can you help please?
I wanted to sing this song as a kid. But it wasn't on the approved list or something. It starts off sounding all happy but ends on a sad note. Poor Puff! Peter, Paul and Mary pretty much have said the same as you regarding the theme.
i love this song i live in va and we have this grand parents thing and its when we sin a bunch of songs and this is one of our songs were singin by the way i love this song
It is, and I have :) I live in Bangkok, so I've been over to Laos a couple of times. There's a video somewhere on my channel called "Bike Ride in Vientiane". You've been there, I take it?
A little trick of the trade: they're the same thing! We just bottle up the floor wax, cross out 'floor', write in 'ceiling' and sell it for twice the price! ...Keep it under your hat, though.

Fantastic lesson.
Is there an easy way to learn Morningtown Ride (Rocking, rolling, riding, out along the bay...)?

@myfriendcallsmevinny
hahahaha! I used to think it was "Ceiling wax". I later figured out it was "Sealing Wax". Like the kind you use to seal an envelope
