I find Jim to be funny in general, like when he is on O&A. I never find him funny on stage. Like I can't feel his delivery. I feel bad because I like him but Ive never liked his stand up. Norm on the other hand is one of a kind. Love Norm.

I like that the genius irony of Norm MacDonald's set went completely over the heads of all those comedians, whom you would think could recognize irony when they see it. But apparently Comedy Central can't recognize irony either. And that's why Norm MacDonald is far superior to any comedian in that room.

It's about a family living during the Great Depression. They lose their farm and move west to California to find work. So I guess Norton is trying to say that Norm's set is depressing.

I have seen Norton perform a number of times and I can't stand him. Here's his act: "I used to have sex with hookers and do drugs - explitive." - waits for a laugh. Norm is a comedy master. Norm's segment was very understated and 99% of people were probably just made uncomfortable by it but I thought it was awesome.

My impression of Norm's set is based on the fact Norm stated on Stern that Artie (who was to be on the roast) was no longer on it & nobody would say why. Norm believed that Artie had died & Comedy Central wanted to do the roast anyway. So he purposely went extremely dry as a way to say FU to Comedy Central & not get laughs. A lot of people didn't get it, Yimcy knows how funny Norm is & his comment was about seeing something never before seen. I love Yimmy, he is a sweet boy & Norm is a legend
