hey nice cover, always love the little licks the bass player puts in, in guns and roses, the only thing i can suggest is for the tone like guns and roses you would be best getting a p bass because its a lot more scratchier and rock like, jazz bass is alot more cleaner and heartier

The big debate on whether a Bass player should use a pick is absolutely stupid. Using a pick gives a more cutting heavy rock sound which is why some great bass players like Roger Glover and Phil Lynott choose to use them. Using a pick suits a song like this where the Bass sound quite clonky and heavy. People who grief this video because he is using a pick are just jealous because it's a good cover and are trying hard to find fault with it.

@DearestEnemyBand Your absolutey right! there are 3 basic ways/styles of playing a bass. Fingerstyle, Slap and Plectrum (using a pick). With each style you get a different sound from the bass. A lot of people on youtube believe (usually beginners) that if you don't use only fingerstyle that you are not playing the bass correctly...or your cheating. This stems from the fact that they are ignorant beginners and don't know better. Oh well they will either grow and learn or stay ignorant. Rock on!
