  • 440tq.. lol

    Touché.

  • @REALSTREETPERFTV

Not hating at all. Im actually very impressed. I just always think its funny when something has so much HP and a lot less torque. Then again, my car is the exact opposite. I drive a modified TDi (VW Turbo Diesel) and my car makes 220tq...but only 120hp. In case anyone is curious... More torque feels more fun from 0-40.. but after that HP makes the car actually fast, and not just feel fast.

    .. my car is slow.

  • @applehatstudios with honda's you really don't need a lot of torque. I think s2000's weight about 2400-2500 lbs if I'm not mistaken. the civics are even lighter. my coupe weighs 2200 stock and I can get it down to 1900. With a lighter car a lot of torque is bad really. you get a lot of wheel spin and you don't go anywhere. thats why the areil atom is powered by a honda K20. it's about 1300lbs so Honda motors are perfect for them

  • @REWej8 race weight for this car is 2950 just for reference

  • @applehatstudios and your point is? TQ isnt everything gearing and HP/RPM can make up for any lack of TQ, and TQ is only useful to begin with if you can put it on the ground... this car probably weighs less than 3k lb's no mountain of TQ needed to get it moving anyway.

  • @applehatstudios Anything more and it will just cause tire spin.... You should see its 1/4mile

  • @applehatstudios torque doesn't matter when you have RPM's to make up for it. It's all about HP, and HP is a derivative of torque AND RPM's! so as long as you have ONE of the two, you have HP, which is what MOVES the car. Clearly, this car has the RPM's to make up for the "lack" of torque, so it doesn't matter.

  • Was that Car Parked @ 1:24

  • LOVE that noise...

  • Do you make a kit to bolt the cobra IRS to the S2000?

  • @greeneyes8098 no we use the full blown kit

  • NIce motor!
