Two different alien types with the former being a new species. It reminds me of a triceratops with that massive armored dome and low charging profile.

But here's the thing, if they wanted a whole new species called a "Charger", why would they make it so much like an already existing xenomorph called a "praetorian?"

I mean, I like the Charger's design, but they shouldn't make it look like something that was already in all the other games. I mean the runner aliens looks like a warrior and a drone, but it's missing the tubes and crawls on all fours. There's at least some difference. The praetorian and Charger? Not so much, lol.

@Galliruler Yea, they are very similar I suppose. But the praetorian is sort of a massive drone that guards the queen. The charger seems to be more of brute alien, thick shield carapace and low to the ground... What sort of role would it perform in the hive? Maybe it function sort of as a guardian for the drones, helping to drive off predators or something. Maybe good at tunneling through earth? I like the concept.

@Galliruler I think the two aliens are going to have different roles in the hive. Just like there are drones, runners/dog, warriors, praetorians, queen... The charger might just be a more offensive alien that does a role in the hive. Maybe it guards the tunnels of a hive or perhaps it is used to break into other alien hives/host habitats? I don't think they look that similar, the praetorians is always on two feet and kind of lumbers around while the charge looks to be a big but nimble foe.

I really hate how Xbox makes every game brighter than they really are. This game is definitely ALOT darker on PC. Xbox just creates too much light and even creates light where it shouldn't be at. It ruins that atmosphere that you would get in the other two platforms. As usual I'm going to have to lower the brightness to nearly 30% just to make the way it would look on the PC. (I'm a console player, just letting everyone know).

Seriously? Massive amount of scripted events doesn't make a game "impressive" at all. Visuals =/= gameplay.
