when all of you realize we have no rights maybe you'll get mad but it does not matter if you do because the American people are no longer a viable force against our government.
i can not imagine the horror the students at virginia tech must have faced, cowering in fear just waiting to be killed.not having any means whatsoever to fight for their lives.being completely helpless.just waiting to die.
They pick weak unprotected targets. Wolves prey on calves, steer, sheep, and the sick and injured. A fox kills chickens in the hen house and is drawn to the sound of wounded rabbits. Human predators pick targets that give them the greatest chance of their success with the least chance of harm to them. The police have no legal obligation to protect you or them. See Warren v. DC, Castle Rock v. Gonzalez. If you want to survive a deadly encounter, be ready to do to them as they will do to you.
At 3:30 you see a man with a sign saying "Background checks saves lives". I guess they forgot that Seung-Hui Cho PASSED a background check. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold didn't get their guns from a gun store. NO background check. Most murderers don't obtain their guns legally. No background checks. These people refuse to face reality. The only deterrent to criminals is the threat of violence against them. The pick weak unprotected targets. Columbine. VA Tech. The West Nickel Mines Amish School.
Looks like there is more press than people protesting!! I think this is pretty sad though. You should have seen the real rally, it was a couple hours before that!!
Okay, lying on the ground in some sort of twisted homage to a deranged killer's victims will solve the issue of crime in this country how? This is nothing but exploitation and empty symbolism. I would love to debate a gun-control group, unfortunately I am compelled to use facts and logic to make my argument.
That's funny.....All I see are a bunch of disarmed victims!!! Had it not been for the laws breaking our human right to self protection, possibly no one would have died.
Unforunately, people like that would be the first to fall in a massacre at the hands of a mad man whereas an armed civilian stands a better chance of being able to fight back and walk away from the incident alive.
Pro gunners should stage their own protest: a stand-in to show that it's harder to kill an armed victim than it is an unarmed one.
These lie-ins are just sensational emotionalism, with a message devoid of any objective and pragmatic reason as well as logic.
This group and it's guru make my stomach literally turn. I just got done looking at a few of their videos and the information they are spreading is absolutely horrid. There is so much misinformation and they make up stats out of thin air. What a sick and twisted group. To top it all off, they don't let people respond to their videos. That's not a debate, that's a one sided conversation.
Don't know why this got thumbs down. Though it has a few spelling errors, it's true. Heston marched with King, showing us that he believed in the rights of every man black or white. And though we may never overcome evil men who wish to do us harm, I hope that these people overcome their fear of law abiding citizens arming and protecting themselves and each other.
OMG there is no GUN SHOW LOOPHOLE besides kim ja sho or what ever his name was bought his handguns at a store not a gun show dumb asses and we don;t sell guns to people we dont like at gun shows people we think shouldnt have it we dont sell it. when i sell a gun at a gunshow i make a character check on the individual
"The possession of arms is the distinction between a freeman and a slave. He, who has nothing, and who himself belongs to another, must be defended by him, whose property he is, and needs no arms. But he, who thinks he is his own master, and has what he can call his own, ought to have arms to defend himself, and what he possesses; else he lives precariously, and at discretion."

these ignorant sheep have way too much trust in government, and a total lack of understanding of history or freedom. It is my RIGHT to own a gun, and I fucking dare these pricks to come take my gun themselves. The 2nd Amendment is there to protect us from our own government.
To the individual who thinks we should "AK them", you are the reason why the rest of us law abiding gun owners are looked down on. I am going to say what everyone else has thought but not typed, you need to keep your keyboard quiet. The problem with people like those in the vidoeo is that they have been raised to believe that everyone should think like they do. The states with the LOWEST VIOLENT CRIME statistics are the states with the highest percentage of concealed carry permits.
I will never understand why these type of morons wish to disarm themselves and pass laws banning their own right to protect themselves and their families? If deadly attack is imminent, calling 911 and waiting for the Police to save you is foolish at best.
"...If deadly attack is imminent, calling 911 and waiting for the Police to save you is foolish at best."
...and fatal (really a fatal choice) at worst. What I added here is a scary, true fact really. Shooting back defensively against gun-wielding criminals bent on killing you, even if such action will get you (and those with you) killed, is far better than complying with your captors' demands with them still killing you in the end.
Um Yeah, that's not exactly appropriate. That's not the point of showing this and your comments aren't particularily helpful for portraying an image of responsible law abiding gun ownership.
"wow i would love to have a gun fight with them me and my ak and them and their nothings it would be like a good'ol turkey shoot" --
What do I have to do to get sick people like you to leave the gun rights movement? And don't come back and tell me it was a "joke" like it's funny to joke about murdering innocents.
I went with some other VT and George Mason students to lobby against gun control laws, after hearing that the Brady campaign wanted to trivialize the Cho shootings to further their own agenda. Thanks for the motivation!
Thanks for the support. I apologize for the crappy audio, that's a lesson for everyone. Always use a fresh tape when recording something "important" like this. I hope your ears don't hurt too much.
These protesteasyguns clowns tried to come to Fairfax Corner back in November and myself and a few others emailed Fairfax Corner management about it (it is private property) and they told the group they did not have permission to be on their property and to take the protest date off the web site. I take great pride in helping to have their little dog and pony show canceled.
Agreed, I have first hand experience with that statement. I had an Anti coworker that knew I carried. That same anti requested that I give her an armed escort to and from the workplace parking lot and building during the multiple rape issue that was going on for a while in Reston a year or so ago. Some folks just seem to need to learn the hard way before they get it. I suppose we all learn differently. Some learn from others mistakes. Others, learn from their own. Some don't learn at all.
The anti-rights "Lie"in protesters were really mad that, as you can see, there were more pro-rights people there than them. They tried to make sure that no one but the media could watch their "public" protest because of the sea of pro-rights signs. One anti even got violent and pushed someone saying, "this is OUR protest!" No wonder they're scared of guns. They're projecting their violent tendencies onto others.
I laughed too when they started trying to sing. "How dare you laugh!" LMAO!
Like many of you, I am extremely disappointed with some of my fellow U.S. Citizens - they debase themselves with their 'lie in' - EXACTLY what a tyrannical, freedom robbing government wants you to do! There are politicians in and seeking office who want this type of citizen - one who will roll over and debase him or herself. C'mon people, raise your heads and use it for reading and thinking! Keep up the great work VCDL and NRA members! I bow to no one but my God!
And kudos to Second Amendment Sisters! I saw plenty of their trademark slogan represented on signs (Self defense is a basic human right). I love seeing women wake up and recognize that they have the power to defend themselves!
These anti-gun folks will change their minds when THEY get mugged, raped, robbed and realize it takes TIME (a lot can happen in 60-seconds) for the police to arrive! I was pumping gas at the last of the 17 gas stations that were recently robbed in Northern, VA. Thank God I was armed!
Here's a hint to you Anti-G's - It's the CRIMINALs WHO DON'T OBEY THE LAWS!
We live in a free society BECAUSE citizens rose up and demanded freedom. George the tyrant tried to disarm the colonies and failed, thank to people who understood that an unarmed society is doomed to a life of tyranical rule. I believe that Patrick Henry's famous quote said it nicely (if you don't know it, shame on you!). He believed that life without freedom is not a life at all. . .
Several of us 'pro-rights' had the opportunity to speak to some of the students the anti's had bussed in. These were a very articulate, thoughtful bunch of kids. However, during our respectful discussion, one of the organizers pushed into the circle and grabbed the three students and physically pulled them away, saying "Don't talk to them!" I guess blind obedience is a must when working with the 'leadership' of anti-second ammendment groups.
"Tyrants from Hitler to Mao to Stalin have sought to disarm their own citizens, for the simple reason that unarmed people are easier to control. Our Founders, having just expelled the British army, knew that the right to bear arms serves as the guardian of every other right. This is the principle so often ignored by both sides in the gun control debate. Only armed citizens can resist tyrannical government."
I heard that the lie-in folks tried to prevent the pro-rights folks from being there during their staged protest. I guess they didn't want reasonable people to see the "Here Lie Unarmed Victims" signs. Oh, yeah, and speaking of hyprocricy, when the gun bills were being heard in the General Assembly pro-rights speakers were heckled by the lie-in crowd, while they were shown nothing but respect when they spoke for the bills they were supporting. Knotageek, do you have videos of that?
Best sign of the day? "Here lie disarmed victims".
Sure seems that every time a nation or state enacts serious gun control, violent crime increases. And sometimes, it is the prelude to mass murder of innocents, as in the Soviet Union under Stalin, Nazi Germany, and Cambodia.
This is what happens when people learn to think emotionally instead of scientifically. Get off the ground and read a book.
So sad that ignorant people don't realize they are asking to give up their rights, inviting a dictatorship and police state. Just take a look at those countries who have limited or banned guns, folks. All now have unarmed thugs home invading the elderly and weak who have no recourse. STAND UP FOR FREEDOM!
when all of you realize we have no rights maybe you'll get mad but it does not matter if you do because the American people are no longer a viable force against our government.

Of course, most of those sell beef jerky and books, but that's besides the point.
