Collectors don't open boxes for the money, (although a good card would be nice) they do it so they can have fun and collect their favorite players.

Ok, I lost money on the box and it's fine. You open boxes that have cards with a total value of less then what you bought the box for in the first place, that usually happens and card collectors deal with it. I don't open boxes to make profit, it's stupid.

you could resell those for..what $80 if your lucky..stop and your money..one day youll be 32 and want to buy a house..or go on a crazy vacation to brazil....whatever...but go to vegas right now and take the 30,000 your going to spend on cards the next 7 years and put it on red and hope for the best. good luck

and if they're doing it just to resell, they always have that one in a million chance of pulling that crazy ruth/gehrig/cobb/cy young quad auto 1/1 would would probably be worth close to your $30k.

I don't buy boxes to make profit off of them, it's a hobby, I collect cards. I have no idea what you are saying as far as buying a house and going to Brazil, but I buy boxes only when I can back them financially.
