If you like russian planes search for project tuplev! Project tupolev's planes are maybe the best freeware planes for FS9 and FSX.

Features: beautifull VC with all panels in 3D and 2D including engineers panel. Working INS navigation system, working nearly all switches.

Also rememmer BEWARE OF ALPHASIM aplhasim payware planes are less detailed, much freeware planes are much better than payware alphasim planes.

In my opinion, best payware planes for fsx are: PMDG737NGX, PMDG MD11, Wilco 737PIC (can create problems if you use fsinn), Flight1 MD80 Pro, Flight1 ATR72-500... also B767 LevelD, but is not so good as these above. I do not recomend CLS.

@64MojoMan Erm it's been years since I last did it. From what I remember you need an aircraft that it specifically built for FSX. Copy it into the aircraft folder and then load up FSX or reload it. It should work, make sure you copy the parent folder of the aircraft files though and don't put it inside a sub folder etc.

@tightenthenoose838 You need your graphic scenery settings to be on high or above;) I think it's Ctrl+alt+j to make them attach to your plane while parked at the gate, or ctrl+shift+j.

@tightenthenoose838 Well you can mess about with the settings. Personally I suggest keeping traffic to a minimum or have just planes and no cars etc, that really impacts on the frames you get.

And obviously the better your PC is the better performance.

PMDG eats frames like hell!!!!! where as i get 65fps in VC on other planes, in PMDG i get 19fps :( sucks they should make it more fps friendly i mean just the VC. Sky simulations make planes extremely fps friendly
