No reservations was an American Hollywood version of the German film Mostly Martha. It was not a rip off since i'm sure they got the proper legal permission and everybody got paid.

Problem is that while Mostly Martha is a completely charming film No reservations was a bore.

@Hadaozz yeah..they ripped it off so bad that it is almost exactly the script down to the guy giving her niece some food...shameful. they really need to come up with more original stuff.

Great film. Enjoyed hearing the German language with it's smooth rhythm. Didn't mind reading English subtitles. Want to cook like that, but more importantly, taste such amazing creations. The kitchen can be a very passionate place.

Definitely want to experience Italy after seeing this.
