  • I remember and had one!

  • I had a blue and white one... the thing was though, that if you used them on anything abrasive, like concrete etc, the soft rubber foot wore away rendering it useless... also, no-one had the massive open floor area to run them on... not like today with laminate flooring in every room!

  • I loved these things! What a great toy -- a gyroscopic top

  • I do, very well. Wicked cool and portable.

  • I had one but none of the accessories

  • I had them ...

  • and if you didn't have the right angle when getting them going, all the skin from your knuckles got ripped off. You learned after the 1st time (5th or 6th for the stupid kids).

  • I had one of these and got into big trouble at school for putting on top of my best friend's head and well.........it spun her hair so tightly around the tip the teacher had to cut the thing off her head!

  • I had a couple of these. Lots of fun back then

  • i had a vwizzer!

  • The great grandfather of Beyblade, I'm guessing.

  • I do, I do! I collect them!

  • i had one of these , not as much fun as the advert though

  • Hahaha

  • I put mine in my sisters hair just to see what would happen. My Mom beat the fuck out of me, thats what happened. And my sister had a bald spot.

  • @harpo10

    That's what happens!!!!!! heyoooooooooooooooo.

  • I loved these... I would use the belt sander to get them going... oh my dad hated that... but man those things would go nuts! Wish I had a few for the kids.

  • I loved this toy. I would rev the spinner and then put it in my sisters hair. creating impossible knots. Hours of pleasure.

  • a great toy ! I had one too.

  • I had one as a kid!

They were cool until the rubber piece at the bottom wore down, then it was just a piece of eye candy.

  • Of course I remember Wizzer. I had two of these I received from two different relatives the same Christmas. They both had pirate designs on them.

  • Wink Martindale , his real name is WINSTON,,,HA HA, Hi Sandy, Photographer Dave Keeler here,SMILE

  • I had one in 1969,i was 10 years old

  • Yes I remember wizzers

I had a clear one that produced sparks on the inside when it was rotating....great memories!

  • I LOVED THE WHIZZERS! I would have bunches of them and would rev them up on my mom's kitchen floor. We had the gyroscopes, the string walkers, and all sorts of little gadgets for them. Too bad I never had a bigger floor...damn carpeting. And the voice on the ad is the legendary Wink Martindale, somewhere between his careers as a top-40 DJ and a game show host.
