This was actually the summer 1999 MacWorld in New York, when the first iBook was introduced. I was in the audience. There were video screens set up only for the back half of this big room at the Javits Center, so if you were seated in the middle you were far from the stage and could not see a video screen. The people you hear laughing are the ones in the front close enough to see. A lot of the room didn't know it was Noah Wyle until the real Steve Jobs came out.
Having watched "Pirates of Silicon Valley" I have no idea why Steve would be angry at Noah's rendition of him -- he was almost note-perfect (as was Michael Hall as Bill Gates). If anyone should be pissed, it should be Noah -- they misspelled his surname in this video :)
This is actually a clip from MacWorld Expo in 2000. This was the first MacWorld Expo after Pirates. Noah Wyle's performance was rumored to be not to Steve Job's liking. Guess someone thought it would be fun to get the two of them on stage together.
made me smile :)

Jobs and Gates are both douchebags.
Stallman and Torvalds are the only true enlightened visionaries.

While I am not a mac fan, (quite the opposite actually) this is pretty cool, I enjoyed it.
