Betty, I have a question, do you have any low carb and or sugar free dessert recipes using Stevia and nut flours etc...? BTW...I love your videos. Thanks for sharing.
@MISSINGROGERHOWARTH I have substituted sweeteners in my regular recipes with good results. I will check around for recipes that use Stevia and nut flours. Thanks for the suggestion.
@katrina10rocks Yes, you may use regular flour. For each cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt to convert to self-rising flour. The margarine can definitely be replaced by butter.
@aleaselleanica Yes, you may use all purpose flour. To be precise, you should add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt for each cup of all purpose flour. Yes, you may use 1 stick of butter.

Mine were ready to take out of the oven in 8 minutes, and yielded 24 cookies.

What if we dont have vanilla extract? Will it still be the same without it?
09Cratz 1 year ago
@09Cratz Vanilla extract is not needed in this recipes. The other flavors are powerful enough to make these delicious without the vanilla!

Hi Betty! Thank you for this posting. I was wondering if you or anyone else tried adding chocolate chips to these and if so, how did they come out?

@cheryl2310 I haven't tried that, but I think it would turn out great!

can i substitute the self-rising flour with anything?
clbosa 1 year ago
@clbosa You may use plain flour. For each cup of plain flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt. These will be great!
