In other words, one cant be born again and be living in sin (lukewarm) and go in the rapture for the marriage supper. Many (christians) are called, but few are chosen. As for 1 Peter1:20, you better read the verse before it, who does it say was foreordained? Answer - Jesus Christ.

For many are called but few are chosen. You must read the beginning of ch22 to see what its talking about, there is no way you can have that mean Christ chose to only save some while calling many. He is talking about the marriage of the bridegroom. (matt ch25) In other words Christ is addressing the believers. Only those who are washed in the Blood

The first 2 Chapters in Romans makes it clear that no one is without excuse. If no man is without excuse then how is it God elected a few and damned the rest? Bible would never contradict, God gives man a choice, He calls/draws us by Christ crusified, but we are able to resist the call hence many will go to hell. And yes God calls ALL, but we respond by either believing or not believing. God doesnt choose who He will and wont save before the world began. He chose the means through which we might be saved (the Cross) but God doesnt make that decision for us. And yes the Holy Ghost does draw ALL men, but how? By the Cross of Christ.

God chose me to be his own. and people can't know Christ unless the Holy Spirit draws them...this is also Biblical.

Both of these people teach a TRINITY, when scripture teaches ONE GOD. They promote sun god day keeping by example, when God commands the remembrance of His seventh day Sabbath. Both of these men teach Calvin's TULIP dogma which deviates from the truth of scripture on all points. Neither of these men teach God's plan of redemption as foreshadowed in the holy days. Both men teach immortality of all people when the Bible teaches that man is mortal and that eternal life is a gift.

I think the reason...I use convert a lot too...is that there is a stage of development difference between convert and disciple. A convert is what someone is when they are first changed by the Spirit of God. Once they are converted, they transition (hopefully seemlessly) into a disciple. The first hope and goal is to convert (present Gospel pray for God to convert) the next is to teach them all that Jesus taught (disciple).

Amen.  Fruits are not defined by consistent attendance to a particular meeting place. If that defined "fruit" then brothels could be considered "fruitful". The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, self-control. (Gal. 5:22-23) The development of this fruit is the measure of success in a ministry.
