So now weve taken back the top slot, how about half a million people opening up their windows, hanging speakers in the street, turning up to 11 and hitting play bang on the dot 12 mid-day christmas day?! See you in the streets people!!(unless someone tells us not to of course) x
ure all fucking stupid mosher twats its a very wank song the people who sing it think there hard because there protesting it i meen i dont think its me but the thing is that this song is to hard for all of the band because they r to cool and they slag people off i meen there just to hard mosher cunts
Haha honestly, what did they expect? Still, respect for RATM for sticking to what they've always been about - not comprising because someone tells them to.
They have a message to get out there. What do you think the best way is of getting it out there? Publishing CDs in their backyard and handing out flyers at the subway? Or signing up with a label that can give them masses of publicity. Think they give a shit about Sony? Nope. But it's the best damn way to get their message out there. Sure Sony gets rich, but Rage get to say their piece to the biggest audience possible.
haha! thats nothing! kevin bloody wilson(an australian comedy musician) once whent to canada and was told he couldnt use the word c*nt on stage, first night he was there he wrote and performed "you cant say c*nt* in canada*
How the fuck could these nimrods not see that comming! If you tell a band who revolve around telling the industry to shove their rules up their ass not to swear, the chances are THERE GOING TO!

1)At Xmas most people dont want to hear a song about the problems which the world is facing. People want a bit of cheesy goodness to take their minds off bad times. Previous Xmas's No1's include Bob the Builder&Mr Blobby.. go figure!
2)RATM are signed to a Sony subsidiary.. if people really want to make a stand they should back an unsigned band.
3) Who the hell says popular music needs to be clever, political or serious.. Almost all entertainment is made as a form of escapism anyway.Peace! x
So let me get this straight the DJ told them not to swear and the line in the song is 'Fuck You, I Won't Do What You Tell Me'. Great Performance of the song though. Hope it gets to No. 1
Hahahahaha, brilliant. Fair play to the boys. They seem more in touch with the current economic and social situation in the UK than Simon Cowell ever could be.

You asked someone not to sing "Fuck you I won't do what you tell me."
...and you couldn't see the irony coming from a mile away?

Nice one, you can always rely on them to make a scene. I've always loved Rage ATM and i'm glad people have chosen them as a statement.
