  • Sir Paul is the best songwriter in the world!

  • sweet!

  • thanks sir paul!

  • @ rakkav: thx Mon!

  • You're welcome, utcaveman! One of my friends here introduced me to this song and I bought both versions available on iTunes. Superb, both of them (solo voice/guitar and with an ensemble like this, also live, in New York City).

  • Paul and Ringo still are amazing! They still do live concerts too. Paul McCartney is going on a huge world tour in 2010 to the msot histroical places

  • beautiful song. paul always rocks!

  • This song is from the album "Flaming Pie:". I think it is best work. I went through about 2 CD's of it and I need a new one.

  • @kathyuk28 What you need is a new CD player dude!

  • Jajaja The beginnin' of the song sounded really funny!!! jaja Love u Paul!!! You're a great musician composer etc etc

  • "Děkuju" is "Thanks" in Czech... so he's not speaking only Russian...

  • it's also in Ukrainian

  • .... too short. Another one that's so powerful yet explainative

  • McCartney was made to be a composer, and an entertainer. He's etched his name right alongside the other greats such as Beethoven, and Mozart. What a Gift. 10 Stars!

  • I'm going to get the Good Evening New York City CD/DVD. I've never had the privilege of seeing him live (too much money, though if I get another chance...I'll have to do it). Anyway, I'm excited for it. Great tracklist!

  • I saw him in Montreal, in 1989. I bought a ticket off a scalper, and had to eat rice for a couple of weeks, as I was an impoverished student. It was worth it!

  • I will hold u, for as long as u like ^^ <3 I love Paul!! :D

  • how paul can compose beutifull song with lyric and melody that very hard we can

    forget it.......?

    the answer is.....GIFTED !

  • He's like a child in the beggining. It's amazing that at 67 he still has that same energy and charm everyone fell in love with so long ago.

  • Woah this works really well with full band

  • This is a beautiful song that I've never heard before. It's very uplifting and mood elevating. Thanks for sharing!

  • i saw paul live last saturday AND HE STILL ROX!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great show! I was there too :]

  • i saw paul in halifax .. it blow my mind away ... geeze over 30 song .. it's kinda of a shame for all the other band , when most of the time there barely able to pull out half of this.... so Thank's paul for one off the best time of my life ..... ;-)

  • Macca....you're way too serious...yeah right!

this is one of my favoirte songs ever!

i'm so exited to see you Paulie!

    Just about one more week!

i'm so happy i could barf a rainbow!

  • quan il a chanter cette chansson le 11 Juillet a Halifax jai cru mouriir

    always the best McCartney

  • hell yeah!!!!

  • the bestt voice in the whole world the best that its !!!

  • I would agree with someone who said Paul is better known for his song-writing and instrument-playing than his actual voice, but it just so happens that he can sing beautifully as well. There's a small string of McCartney dissenters that go around on youtube and talk s.hit about Sir Paul, so it's best to just ignore them.

  • Wow I kind of a agree and really disagree the man sounds amazing. The chords on this are bitch to play and sing at the same time. He's still better than 99 percent of the young live acts (watch "Little Boots" live on youtube horrible,) these days. I think Paul McCartney has proven that despite the odd songwriting blip over his carreer he has evolved as the best popular artist alive today who has aged like wine...Rod Stewart can kiss my ass! He is great live in every size of venue.

  • Yeah actually, that's one of the things I'm referring to. It was about four or five years ago, his "Chaos & Creation" special at Apple... and I watched the whole thing on youtube and went, "wow, his voice still sounds beautiful." He's just great. Period.

  • I don't know-he seems to have a hard time projecting over the big stadiums, but he's still pretty good when he does studio stuff or plays smaller venues. His voice has gotten deep and a little gravely as he got older, so I'm impressed that he still sounds as good as he does...

  • gorgeous song. i love paul in the beginning. he's cooler than most of us kids today.

  • yea hahah

  • i dont know, i love paul but the live version of this song to me detracts from the original. its his song and he can do as he wish but i just dont like this version.

  • I find his voice always sounds a little funny in live versions of this song, but if you listen to some more rock n roll stuff ie: helter skelter and even band on the run he sounds better now than ever

  • I agree. I don't know why. Maybe because the chords are hard and hes trying to concentrate. It doesn't matter, this song sounds awesome with the band.

  • hhahahahaa he was so excited thre lol

  • GENIAAAAAAAAL

    :) ;) :)

  • This song is too bouncy with the entire band its much better as a guitar/vocal performance

  • john is dead! you will never hear there voices together again! no matter how awesome i could be! (sorry to pop your bubble) ha!

  • is harmony is brill. john would'nt sound at all right!

  • glad it went well above all those empty threats. yyyeeesss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the best band ever !!! i love those guys !!!!

  • Great band, but he needs some real man's harmonies, something like John.

  • yeah, now you're talking!

  • hahaha- he said 'hey man' just before the start....how cute---

    adore this songggg

  • dude whens he comin to the us

im guessin if he does, it may either be like washington DC

    or San Fransisco

for some reason those r my thoughts

  • 25/9 Paul in Israel $#@

    I've got a ticket <3

  • Which venue is it going to be in? Because I told my YouTube friend from Israel about it, because I am hoping the person can go to the concert, and I read, and told that person that it was either going to be in the Nation's football station Ramat Gan, or do an open air concert in Hayarkon Park.

  • oh yeah man me 2 :D:D

  • I will see Paul in Québec on July 20 and I can hardly contain myself.

I'll love you for the rest of my -

For the rest of my life!

  • Good to hear Paul playing acoustic every once and a while

  • also love the Mrs. Vanderbilt...really i just adore everything the man does! sometimes i wish i didn't. i never seem to tire of listening to his music..ok that's enough!

  • IMO, this is one of the sweetest songs he's ever written. Love it! <3

  • this is silly statement...but saying it anyway...I just want to go up to Paul...grab him by both cheeks...& endearly pinch & wiggle them till he hollers & grins eternally!

  • Sherry well don't tell anyone but I often get a tear in my eye watching him. I am a 44 year old man. Shh, don't tell. I will say I only like Led Zep. Just between us alright? Shh. Ed

  • I love how Abe and Paul works with each other. They seem to be very in synch with each other.

  • Yes the drummer is a master. Two masters. Best band. Ed

  • I do wish that Paul had a different lead guitarist, though. Rusty's wonderful, but Robbie was better suited for Paul's music.

  • Ahh,just apples and oranges there. Ed

  • He's so adorable. This is a perfect song for Linda.

  • p.s. right as Paulie starts the song he says .... 'right..hey man'

I ADORE HIS REACTION!! So spontaneous! I have rewinded that part a million times..so Paulie

  • love...isn't that what this life is about?

  • That was very 'Johnish', if you will, at the beginning..It's someting John would have done! And oh, how John and George are proud of Paulie extending the important message of peace! Excellent video.

  • I agree, JulianL, could easily see John doing that!

  • Spasseeba, Djakuja!

  • Spasibo, Paul!

  • my dream come true if i went to the gig maccca and those lovely polish girls

  • oh yes! Cut up Paul! i love it! Great gracious, i've been on pins & needles all week-end hoping come Monday i'd get to catch the vids of PAULMCCARTNEY's concert in Kiev!
