Jeremy,Keep your chin up and try not let the other students comments get you down. You are a great person with a lot to offer. I don't know you but you seem like a very nice and caring young man.
I know it can be hard going through school being labled as "differant" or "special" because I was and it wasn't fun, it was really hard.
Just keep your chin up and remember the students that make fun of you and put you down don't know you. Who made them boss anyway?
That's the point in my film. We don't need a cure, we just need to raise awareness and educate society. We need to embrace the wonderful gifts of autism. What is normal anyway? Part of the journey is for the parents (like myself) to accept and not be in denial; I want to help other parents on this journey. I travel the journey in the film and become proud in addition to my son with autism becoming proud of the diagnosis and embrace the wonderful gifts of autism. Thank you for your comments.
@cjellwood Autism is not a disease... Make room in society.... What do you mean by 'normal' ?...
One size fits all ?...Please endevour to broaden your understanding and grow as a person, this will benefit you, yours and all of society...eventually..... : )
Please if you can please tell me how to do this therapy for my son I would greatly appreciate it, my son is 4 years old and just starting school and I have 3 other kids as well and Im finding every day to be a struggle. I really love him dearly and want to help him and Im fining that none of the organizations I'v been in contact with have been helping me put him on the right track. Please get back to me on this.....
I have tried posting this for months and it would not post. I hope you got my email. The therapy that worked for JJ was neuro feedback therapy that retrains the brain provided by a specialist or psychologist. I am very sorry for your struggles; we have had many, too. Don't give up. Email me more questions if you have them.
This documentary is amazing and a "must-see" for EVERYONE. It not only is so well done as far as how it was presented, but also for the indepth coverage! Most fascinating to me was the bullying that Jeremy persevered through and has come out on top! I have had the pleasure of working with Jeremy for a few years and am thrilled to know he is going away to college this year! Peace n hugs to JJ and Lori!
If you want to learn more about curing autism i found an amazing product called "PCA-RX" it acually reverses the affect of the mercury in vaccines and restores kids back to somewhat normal thinking ability! its worth doing some research on.
From what I have read, there is no research to back up mercury being an issue because mercury was taken out of vaccines years ago and autism is still on the rise. Could be the side effect of too many vaccines given at one time...my son suffered spiked fevers after vaccines that could have caused neurological trauma causing autism...just my thoughts but I am only a mom, not a medical person.
There is nothing wrong with people with autism, what's wrong is the others who judge autistic people.

I had 10 neurofeedback sessions, I didn't notice any improvement at first but then I kind of did. My condition is only mild.
