Well, I'm sure it's smaller on the inside I just wonder if the sets from the movie are based on the inside of that house.

I wonder if the owners of that house are pissed off a lot at Home Alone fans driving by and stopping in front of them. Also, I wish I knew what that sweet kick-ass house really looked like on the inside. Cuz the sad thing is that the interior shots of the house in the movie, for those of you who don't know, where just sets built inside a high school gym.

they're actually very nice about all the visitors that make it out their way. yeah the inside of the house is a lot smaller but they did use the owners stairs for the sled scene.

@racguy1183 I grew up in Oregon not too far from the Goonies house. People still visit the Goonies house constantly and take pictures, and they have taken off the porch because people kept tromping on it. The school from Kindergarten Cop is a few blocks down the road from it, too.
