  • Am i the only one having problems with recording? Like, on the spiderjam itself it sounds good, but when i convert it to a computer it sounds crappy

  • @adhdal how are you saving your wav files? Also, this might be a better question for our support team. You should reach out to them on the support pages of our website if you have not already.

  • @line6movies

On the spiderjam itself, i save them as a wav file on my sd-card. I put the sdcard in the computer, and then i play the wav file

  • im sorry, but girl just dont rock...what happened to janis joplin?

  • What settings should I use to get a good punk rock tone?

  • I've owned this amp for the past three weeks and I've never had so much fun in my life. This thing will definitely take your guitar playing to a new level.

  • im havin one 4 xmas wid a les paul gothic satin black epiphone!!! cnt wait!

  • Amp seems perfect for me because I play the guitar, keyboard and I do the vocals. At least for @ home.

So, this is actually a Spider III with some extra's but i has fewer effect presets than the Spider IV. The looper seems to auto-restart while playing so you can't record a long loop. You're bound to a small amount of measures then. Is this all true? Would be such a shame.

  • This is correct. If you would like to submit feedback, feel free to visit the line6 site and go to the contact us page. Thanks!

  • would a 75w spider IV be a better buy or is this worth the extra money

  • I want this amp so bad man!

  • Blah

  • Can you use this amp with the DigiTech RP1000 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal?

  • if its a pre-amp pedal yeh. but if its menna plug into the amp no, it only takes one pedal and its a spider sumin :L

  • Is it loud enough to hear it over a drum beat with an actual drum set instead of the built-in sounds?

  • It should be. You may just want to elevate it a bit. Set it up on a stand or a chair. That will help however, on its own its loud enough o compete with live drums.

  • Can you use this with an acoustic guitar?

  • Yep,just plug the acoustic into the guitar/aux.

  • I need help. I played a Spider Jam & a Spider 150 in a guitar center, and liked them equally well. Should I get the 150, Jam, or just wait for Spider IV? thx.

  • Can I use the output of "Guitar Rig 3" to the Aux IN on the Spider Jam, without causing any damage to the SJ?

I usually use my home hi-fi amp and speakers with GR3.

Can the SJ take 2 electric guitars at the same time?

    Thanks

  • The AUX in on the Spider Jam is instrument level so you'll need to make sure the outputs on the Rig Kontrol are as well. You dont want to take the chance of damaging the AUX in on the Spider Jam by running a Line level signal into it. You can connect 2 guitars at once however only one guitar will be able to utilize the modeling in the amp.

  • Thanks for your reply.

When you say 2 guitars... do you mean ANY electric guitars?

  • yes, or one guitar and one bass/keyboard/about any other instrument.

  • Yes. Any electric guitars.

  • how would it hold up in a performance? decent or to weak? personally i like having two twelves

  • Can you put your recorded songs on a computer?

  • Yes. You can record your songs as .WAV files and then transfer them to your SDCARD and connect the card to your computer. Drag the >WAV files into any recording application or media player for playback.

  • I have tried it, but it only says READING ERROR. Even with a blank SD card. It only works with .JAM files to download to SD card inserted. What do i do wrong?

  • Hi John. Line 6 Support will be able to help you through our support page. If you just visit the line6 site and then click on support. Go down to "Ask a Question" and post there. Line 6 support will be notified and they can help you out. Thanks!

  • can you do just one chord progression over it or does you have to keep layering

  • You can do just one chord progression.

  • can u use a guitar and a bass at the same time????

  • Yes. You can use the AUX input to plug in a bass guitar to use it with a guitar at the same time.

  • can a bass guitar be connected into the spider jam and function with out blowing the amp?

  • Yes. You can plug a bass into the Spider Jam and it will not cause any damage to the amp.

  • what about an acoustic guitar? I've just got mine today and so far I'm impress

  • If you are asking if the SJ will work with an electric acoustic then the answer is yes.

  • and now with sd card functionability for saving recordings =)

  • my friend got his for around $550

  • what price does it have?

  • This looks like a great machine. I'd really love to see the looper stuff built-in to the POD though!
