I disagree, Nick is very unlucky to have a manipulating bitch like Phyllis in his life. Sharon is his true love and their baby Faith will eventually bring them back together. Bank on it. It's more like Nick feels an obligation towards Phyllis because of Summer. The protectiveness he feels towards Sharon is real strong love. That will win out in the end.
