I didn't realise, but if you watch at 2:09 on this clip his rear steering broke when he crashed down off the earth ramp and from that point on he just went for it until there was nothing left to do that couldn't be done by driving crab-wise or turning to the right. He did his first obstacle at 0:43 on this clip so his time was up at 2:12, just after the steering broke.
