I bought the 2011 model in January last year. I'm really happy with it. It's in the taffeta white. It's the VTi model but I got some rims for it later in the year. Really economical in fuel consumption!! I think I was one of the first in Albury NSW Aus, to have the 2011 model cos every where I went people would look at the car. :) Great review too!!!
the 2008-present Honda City/ Honda Fit Aria/ Guangzhou-Honda City/ Honda Ballade(South Africa) was/is assembled in Ayutthaya, Thailand Alor Gajah, Malaysia Greater Noida, India Guangzhou, China Lahore, Pakistan Campana, Argentina Sumaré, Brazil (until 2011) Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines Adapazarı, Turkey
Actually if I'm not mistaken the car can play CDs for music, the CD slot is behind the screen, you have to manually pull it down, for the version in my country :).
@ceyhan49 Using signals and correctly is basic road courtesy and manners and the law, I always use it (every single time) when I change lanes, enter/exit roundabouts, turn in/out of junctions etc. I think people who don't use signals correctly at all don't truly know how to drive. We have both good and bad drivers in our country :].
This hubcap looks nice; Honda should put this one on Fit, not the cheap looking one they put on. Also, the interior looks much better than Fit. If Honda sells this car in the U.S., I'll absolutely pick this one instead of Fit.
@elvisghaw I also really like the Honda City! I believe Honda will eventually sell the City here in the U.S. in the next few years. I've been lobbying Honda to sell it here ever since I first saw the all new, redesigned 2009 City. Great looking car inside and out.
@elvisghaw I'm really unsure why Honda doesn't sell the City here in the U.S. and Canada. Heck, they sell it to our neighbors to south, Mexico. I think the City is a great looking car and would make a superb addition to Honda's lineup in both the U.S. and Canada. Honda's going to eventually need a car to squeeze in below the Civic especially as the Civic gets more expensive.
ha! your a west Melbourne boy to. did you know Honda was aiming this car at teens at the motor show (doubt they got many) and that it dose not have any thing in common with the old city what so ever, other than both being eco engine of there time. looks good but everything it's got another one of there other Honda's can do better other that what you sayed about boot space.
@ussengh thats odd. i always thought light handling was'nt preferred. my car's handling is pretty solid. when i drive my mums honda i always feel like the steering wheel is soooo looosseee. im not sure if its just me or if generally a lighter steering is considered better steering?
anyone who bought a higher spec has been cheated....additional 5k for just steptronic and side lights is just too much...the16 inch rims are no different than the 15 inches...
@macaroni29 honda always overprices their higher spec. we paid nearly 10g extra for heated leather seats in the cr-v luxury. big fucking deal. lol. id be okay with 10g if we also got bluetooth voice, ipod usb connect & nav. fucking rip off.
@ralphgabriel ..........dude. what the hell are you on about. LOL ofcoure we have alloys in australia. and im sure in phillipines you have LOTS of plastic wheel covers. all cars have them. its the difference between entry level & trim level you douche.
@ralphgabriel Philippine market is very small compared to countries like Thailand, Australia, South Africa that's why there's only a few variants and no manual transmission for the 1.5L engine. Fewer choices for countries with less buyers.

heywatchme101 2 years ago
@heywatchme101 its the lowest variant (1.3A)there is an available alloy for the 1.3S and 1.5E
