  • I really miss SDO...they should put his shows back on TV.

  • Is that a Datsun 411? Those are worth a fortune now. I have one.

  • @Blackboilingrobotoil I think you may be right, but the car that actually gets crushed appears to be a Toyota Corona. I'm surprised they had the budget for two cars.

  • this makes me feel good

  • A true comedy classic.

  • It's a living...

  • He forgot his Saskatchewan Sealskin Bindings).

  • Bob Einstein Is On Of The Best Talents Out There

  • Actually related to Albert Einstein. You can see his pure brilliance.

  • @samk1101 Yeah but it's not the real Albert Einstein. It's his brother Albert Brooks. LOL

  • Should have used a surrogate.

  • Bizarre was a great show! Haven't seen it in years. Thanks for posting!

  • my mom played a dead secretary on the show!

  • This sketch was my introduction to Super Dave... great stuff!

  • I used to watch this guy's cartoon show as a kid, it was awesome and hilarious!

  • So that's what Larry did before he became a surrogate.

  • man, Funkhouser was quite the looker

  • Brother of Albert Brooks (who didn't want to be called Albert Einstein, his REAL name.)

  • this guy was the best as a kid I never wanted to miss his stunts lol

  • uh-oh! I think my nose is bleeding! lol

  • Super Dave Osborne is very much alive and still thrilling audiences with his bravery and skill. Anyone who dismisses him or makes a nasty comment is clearly jealous

  • Super Dave is the last living legend.

  • He's dead.

  • Actually, he can't really be dead, since Bob Einstein (the actor portraying him) is still alive.

  • So is John Byner. I was at one of the Super Dave shows in Markham, with Ray Charles as a guest performer. I ended up getting Super Dave's Autograph that night

Super Dave was the same guy as the chap that played the show producer in a suit.

  • he's in ocean's 13 as Agent Caldwell

  • Tell you what, if I get outta here, I'll buy you a beer. Lolz gotta love Super Dave!

  • Here he looks a lot like his brother, Albert Brooks here! But much taller.

  • Poor Super Dave. You gotta feel for him. He always has so much confidence, yet his stuns always go horribly wrong.

  • U r so right!! LOL

  • The best one is when he got run over by the bulldozer and then has a poem for Mike - Roses are red, Mike youre a putz, a hope when you die, an elephant steps on your ******* ****

  • If anyone has TV land, this show comes on at least 10 times a day. I'm watching it right now!

  • wow i miss this show , havent seen it for years

  • lolololo

  • Yep the first ever skit with Super Dave (Bob Einstein) was on the JOhn BYner Comedy Hour in 1972. In 1980 he re-did the character on Bizzare.

  • So was this clip from 1972 or 1980?

  • 1980. I will change the title. But it is still an earlier Super Dave sketch (the ones from Super Dave Show probably aired much more often).

  • Thanks for posting this. I remember Bob Einstein being interviewed on Larry King Live back in the late 1980s. He said that he created the Super Dave character many years earlier when he was a writer for The Smothers Brothers. Unfortunately, the brothers never utilized the character.

  • Yes 1980. Mike Walden didn't do the John Byner Show in 1972 as far as I know.

  • Actually Super Dave's first ever skit was on The john Byner Show in the 1970's

  • Amazing how young they all look. 'course, it *was* 28 years ago :P.

  • Wow Haven't seen that sice it first aired! Loved it! Still censored after all thes years.
