This is just about the most horrible song EVER. There so many real families who have been through real tragedies like this, and this is just a cheesy exploitation of situations like this. This is an insult to children who have really lost their mothers.
I disagree with you and agree with you. This is a good song and it doesn't make fun of kids and their families that are going through this. It reminds them that no matter what they should be happy no matter what and never forget about the person that died that they cared very much for!

Secondly, no one needs to be reminded to "never forget" a person they love. And you need to look up the word "exploitation," because it does not mean "make fun" of someone.

I know whats it like to loose someone everyone does and I know that you should never forget that person but you should always remember that they are with you in your heart and they are watching over you. And what I mean by being happy no matter what is because is that they should always remember the happy times with his/her mother and not the sad times and remember that they are in a good place now.
I lost my mom last year on the 17th due to being hit as she crossed the street in her wheelchair... so please pay attention and dont be in a rush this year...

At the 30 second mark, it says the lyrics are "I'm really in the Christmas mood". That's sort of what it sounds like but the actual lyrics are "Not really in the Christmas mood". With those lyrics in mind, you can hear it. It also makes a lot more sense for the song for a guy *not* in the Christmas mood being thankful for the boy to be there to remind him what Christmas is really about.

All I can say is "WOW". It does not matter how your video was made etc, it is all about the THOUGHTS and FEELINGS that went into it. ccluskin, you shouldn't feel bad. Many people don't like this song. I don't think that your comments were rude or heartless. The song is maudlin. And yes, I lost both of my parents and was devastated at their deaths. I just don't like songs that heavy-handedly try to wring the last drop of emotion out of me. Those who disagree might try to see how the song seems overly sentimental to some people without calling them names, and being rude themselves.

omg this song is so sad... it makes me think back to when my mom was in the hospital because she has kidney failure.. she almost died. and this definately made me cry.. i was younger and i have 3 lil brothers and i had to take care of them. and all they wanted for xmas was our mom to be back home. well shes fine now thank God but this song jus brought back memories.
