Words can not explain the joy i felt from watching this video multiple times. i also own a 2006 gs500f. do you think it's possible for my gs to do these stunts?. What Rpms are you at when you pop it up?

you have to redline and drop the clutch lol. thats the only way i can get my wheel off the ground. I weigh 205 pounds so you should be able to do it

what sprockets r u using i have a 1 tooth smaller in the front and mine comes up pretty easy in first but its a b**** to get it up in second

how did you solve oil problem. I mean:(citation form gstwin member ben2go - hope he doesnt mind)--> Problem with the GS is the oil sump.Keep the front or rear up to long and get aBIG BOOM.The oil runs away from the oil pick up,running the engine dry.Then you get engine lock up.Not good with the front wheel 4 feet in the air.

So did you do any ,mods to prevent engine lock due to no oil going where it should??

no change just filled a half liter extra in it.

never had problems it just keeps running.

Man...i got my GS... maybe tomorrow ill get some pics or vid.... great handling bike....feels nice....what gear you use for slow stuff??? i like 2nd...your are the one with experience on GS here... what about stoppies....i can manage to get some 30 -40 feet stoppies.... but suspension sucks....it must be harder....i changed oil for a 20w (from 10w stock) its better but still to soft any opinion???

get the progressive springs(wound springs) or even better - get race tech springs or sonic(straight rate) but those are pricey. I chose progressives cause I don't race and they are WAAAYYY better than stock. recommended oil for progressives is 10W. good luck. KaMeL

My springs are on their way...... i got some straight rate 30% stiffer than stock.... its trial and error i guess... fork oil is 20W now... ill try it if i dont like it ill put my 10W back again.... ibeen stuntn the gs today...getting slow stuff almost dialed..... about 2 inches to scrape (im still not confident with the brake Ive been 10 days riding the bike)

I wrote that recommended oil for progrssives is 10W that's not true I meant to wite 15W. sorry I was tired. 15W is recommended for progressives.
