You don't be so "igonorent" as you spell it, the macbook? seriously? A consumer notebook against a XPS? Xtreme performance system? Jesus. Atleast compare the macbook pro. Dual GPUs, decent dual core intel CPU, that CAN and WILL play crysis. Don't play games because of eye candy, there are other far better games than crysis that may not look as nice, but are more fun. Isnt that what gaming is about?

OSX runs like a dream, i have NO shortage of apps, except games, and i have a PC for that.
@ They overcharge for week hardware, False in the real world. Compare a stock OEM all in one PC to the iMac. Not overpriced. If your talking about custom builds? Well that beats ANY OEM not just apple. Dell, HP, Compaq, E-Machines for god sakes! People respect trhe creators of good software. Thats what happens. Besides, everything that you do on your "computer that runs ubuntu but also has vista" I can do better on my BeOS machine (LOL) or my Macintosh.
The Windows machine runs heavier, but light because of the OS from 2001. HAL could have used that! The Linux machine runs OK, its the least buggy by far, but there is no software. You get what you pay for, and just because you don't have a laptop doesnt mean you don;t like computers. I only have a PowerBook G4 as my portable, and its just a watch TV and surf machine.
dude, Vista is bloated, and a pile of crap. It just is. Windows 7 is fantastic, so far. I had Vista Ultimate 64 on my system, but I upgraded to Windows XP64 bit. It runs very light and runs all my games, programs and doesn't hog my resources. AND CONSTANTLY ACCESS THE HDD. like come on! that light it like solid! haha. I use Macs PCs and Linux machines. I prefer my mac, never got as much out of the hardware than i do there.
Oh and what's so pathetic about waiting to get a laptop? What's pathetic is a Vista fanboy. I never needed a laptop because I had an iPhone....I actually got the laptop so that I would have something to mess around with. So if not buying something that I knew I wouldn't need or really use until 2009 is pathetic than I guess you got me with that ultra sharp wit of yours. Most people would figure that waiting for something and not wasting your money is smart. You still loose thank you for playing

Uh....ya actually I am a certified PC tech who as worked with every version of windows way back to ver. 1.0 I know micro soft products...I have had Vista Ultimate gaming system for over a year now and it sucks too. Thanks for your "opinion" but anyone that really knows operating systems knows what a pile of poop Vista is. It made me switch to Mac OS X which is far superior to any micro soft product.
