  • im an american .. i obv only speak one lang.. and its all ill ever learn..... because thats the history of the US.

  • hey looks like a fagit know offense

  • We are never going to chance to speak spanish, its a crappy language anyway, english is and will always be the best, fuck all other languages.

  • why dont u shut the fuk up racist

  • how is that racist

  • Great question. I speak English, Spanish, and French. I would like to learn Dutch and Portuguese. I think Americans who know only one language have insulated themselves too long with one language. I think it is almost impossible for them to regain one-language dominance. Who would have thought that Spanish-language television would beat out CBS in ratings over certain periods. But being multilingual in a multicultural society is definitely a global plus.

  • Create a new language that is a medley of all languages (so everyone is happy). Next, incorporate the synthetic language AND your country's native language into education systems, then everyone can communicate with everyone else while maintaining national autonomy.

  • we should get to pick which language we wana learn?

  • If yall want Americans to reach out and learn about the rest of the world, then why just the Spanish-speaking world? If you want to communicate with the largest number of people *around the world*, English is the way to do it, at least right now.

This video is talking about dealing with life inside the USA. AFAIK The US is the only place where Spanish is the #1 foreign language learned. In the world, English holds that title.

This coming from a guy currently learning Romanian...

  • i think that it wouldnt kill some lazy careless americans to get off their couch and go learn some spanish so they can meet more people PROPERLY and learn a thing or two, but americans should still have english as their main language. because america was founded as an english country, and it should stay that way.

  • I often don't understand the Americans in their stubborn insistence that the entire Universe, incl. the Goauld and the Jaffa, MUST speak English, or.....

I grew up in the small Serbia of very mixed parentage. By the age of 5 I was fluent in four languages, and by 30 I have fully mastered 8, wrote in the University,etc... Now I feel old to learn more, but I try to keep alive those I feel I own. Young friends, learn as many as you can, and rule the world.....after all, it is yuors............

  • wise words...

  • However, I hope most Americans start getting interested in learning different languages. That's going to help them understand the different cultures of the world. For example, most Americans have stereotyped Latin America. They think that all Spanish-speaking countries are the same. Maybe learning Spanish will help them understand a little bit more about other countries.

  • uhhhh, no, many americans have NOT stereotyped that spanish-speaking countries are all the same. I am tired of other countries thinking that ALL Americans are the same, dumb, people. Many Americans don't know much about the outside world, but at least where I live, not many are like that. I understand why many countries hate America, though.

  • I don't like generalizations, that's why I said "most Americans have stereotyped..." I didn't say ALL AMERICANS...

I agree with you when you say "many Americans don't know much about the 'outside world'." That is true. I think it's a shame, though. There is so much to learn from "the outside world"!

Some Americans should get out of the their bubble! Reality is not exactly what they think it is. Reality is harder for other people living in "the outside world."

Get out of the bubble. Learn.

  • Well, I'm American, and yes, I agree with you. Actually, for the most part, the common reason why many Americans do not know much about the outside world is that they're too lazy! That's the bad part about my country, many people are too lazy to do anything. That explains why our country has the highest obesity rate in the world. It just sucks!

  • I'm Argentinian, and I've been in the US for less than two years.

When I got to this country, I was very surprised to see how many people spoke Spanish here! I thought that I was going to meet only Americans that spoke English!

I suppose I didn't know about this diversity because I come from a different country.

Personally, I don't want Spanish to become the most spoken language in the US.

I've studied English for more than 10 years, and it's a fascinating language.

    However, I hope most Ameri..

  • English should stay the main language. Just because a crap load of illegal aliens from Mexico are flooding our states doesn't mean we should change our language to theirs! I know English is a weird, hard, language, but it is what we have been keeping since the birth of our country, and no one should change it.

  • What a nasty and mean way to refer to Mexicans. I suppose problems with neighboring countries are common all over the world, but there's no need to be offensive.

My first language is Spanish. But I've always found English to be a fascinating language. English is not "weird" or "hard." It takes time and practice to learn it, just like any other new language you learn.

You need to learn some history... American history! Between 1846 and 1848 Mexico lost nearly half of its territory, the present..

  • As I was saying, between 1846 and 1848 Mexico lost nearly half of its territory, the present Southwest from TX to CA. This territory was occupied by Mexicans, of course! How can you expect to get new territory from Mexico without Mexicans? It's really stupid!

This "crap load of illegal aliens from Mexico" are not "flooding" your states! When you took their territory, they were already in it!

I'm not saying illegal immigration is right. US laws should be respected if you in its territory.

  • excuse me but i dont remember being an illegal alien. i have been an american citizen since birth and although im proud of my american birth, i am also just as proud of my mexican heritage, and there are alot more like me out there. so please dont generalize and say that all spanish speaking folks are illegal, cause thats how youre making it sound.

  • cool man, I dont know what this cnn thing is all about but its definetely a good question to ask...peace

  • Ummm, when my family came here from, Italy, the Ukraine, Lithuania and Germany they all learned English, why should we treat these new immigrants differently?

  • Although I'm Spanish (from Spain, Europe) but I agree with you. The immigrant must integrate in US wherever it comes from. In Spain we want our immigrants to speak Spanish too.

    Simple logic

  • They do learn English. DO you expect them to speak fluently when they first arrive?

  • I don't think thats what there arguing. No one expects immigrants to speak perfect english right away but the respectful thing to do for the country you move to is to try and adapt to there ways of life. Yeah we can learn from some south american culture but you chose to go to America so learn there languange.

  • That's what they do. The problem is that a lot of people who's seen someone from any part of the world who was only here for a couple of weeks struggle with english, they either look at them like they're aliens, or give them dirty looks.

  • i am mexican and i live in mexico, i come here to speak as a brother , what makes us different is the language we speak, but we all are humans, why do we have to figth?

the guy speaking is rigth, he accepts the truth.you have a bad steriotype of us , and we have one of you, but guys lets be brothers ,we were born in a place that humans made different

  • Legal Immigrants should be required to learn English. Americans should want to learn a 2nd Language. Most speak only English. In Europe, a second language is required in elementary school. In other countrys the world over, many speak Some English.

  • English will always be the main language if people speak Spanish thats fine but, 20% of the population is Hispanic guess what 80% is not. Its a shame more people point fingers at Americans and America then fix problems in their own countries, And when we wanna fix problems in our country we get the finger again. Joins us we do care about others, Fight us and we'll tell you root for the home team or get outta the stadium.

  • You know what's real funny! RUSSIANS WILL KILL THE FUCKING MEXICANS FUCK YOU ALL!!!! DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Spanish was around before English in New Mexico. It is ashame that many people refuse to learn. They use hatred to mask their inablilty to grasp a new language. The last battle between Mexico & the United States was in 1919. Its great this hatred is helping weapons investors put guns into more hands NOT. The fact that the USA wanted a piece of Mexico & didn't stop to think that it came with mexicans makes me laugh. Thanks for building a fence in my state bigots!!

  • well i that is true. spanish is kinda going everywhere around the world. and i can't read or speak shit. have to though in school here in TX demanded to take spanish.sucks =[

  • Easy. Make English the official language.

  • United states president: Asay What?!?! Taco's rule!

  • Kill all the MEXICANS THERE BROWN AND UGLY!

  • what the fuck is wrong with you unforgottenalways fuckin retarded racist bitch. u're the one that should be killed. i will say a prayer to god every night for a bus to run over you. fuckin puta. with a chakito dick and a es grande fuckin racial problem. see i'm pickin up the language already. hey i think this really will be an international language. the world has enough problems dickhead. there's no more space for racism. besides if anyone should be killed for being uglt it should be you.

  • not all mexicans are brown , we have the spanish heritage form hispania, read history

  • dude...your like 50... and your a dude, what the hell are you talking about?

  • jajjaja

todos peleando por este video de mierda

en donde un yanqui habla mal el español...

    jajaja

  • Technolgy will fix that problem in the future! We may all have digital translaters, like the way we use cell phones.

  • Ha, as a budding linguist reading this, I have to laugh. Languages are never the same throughout any area of significance (like different dialects in the US). Plus, they continually change, and there are alot of fine details no computer today could possibly process in an efficient amount of time. Humans will remain far better at processing language than computers for some time still.

  • I have one that is more like a calculator that I bought in 89' before visiting the Mayan Ruins. It was very helpful.

  • jag taler inte bra svenska

  • bucjason, what kind of mother raised you? she should start all over loser

  • teach me how to say "shut the fuck up " in spanish. That's about the only words I need to communicate with you people, hehehe :).

  • Cerra el culo, infeliz

    jaja

  • no he's no YOU DUMBASS! he's british! where the hell are YOU from??

  • the usa team was wonderful, but pull your ignorant head out our your ass and do some research of ALL THE WORLD CUP argentine teams. stick to your chess games bitch

  • Argintina has about 95% pure white (and arab descendant) blood from europe ranging from countries like Spain, France, Italy, and especially Germany. As I recall, theres one city in argintina that speaks german as a first language ;)

  • i dont think so jester, never hear about it, i live in Buenos Aires, but you can find great colonies of german people in the center of the country even menonites in the south

  • Jester is quite right about what he says.

  • Should say completly right.

  • Well, he actually meant that there's no such city, but in fact there are small colonies of german descendants who live in closed societies, and yes, they still speak german.

  • yes, and if I recall correctly, these same Germans are post WWII Nazi war criminals.

  • You recall correctly, although not all of them were war criminals.

I don't know if you're familiar with the name Priebke, he was a nazi war criminal that used to live about 4 blocks away from my house... I'm sure he's dead by now. (Also, I don't live in such colonies, heh)

  • I saw a documentary about the germans that escaped after WWII. There are a few still around. They showed pictures of a compound and suggested that Nazism was alive and well within. I am interested.

  • in spain, with the conquering of the moors in southern spain around 1000-1100 AD, you can say that about 35% of spaniards after that point have SOME arabic blood/background. Modern central america are about 75% are pure indian blood with spanish culture influence (meaning those little beaners arnt really spaniard, there mayan and aztec descendants.)

  • people are so stupid, a hispanic is not a race, its a term that was conceived by the king of spain in the 1500's to name his people. Hispanic is to spaniard as Germanic is to German. A tall 6 foot fair skin man with blong hair and blue eyes can be 100% hispanic.

  • Is part of the ignorance over here Jester-

  • It even goes back to the Romans who named Spain "Hispania". As insane as it seems, many people aren't aware that Hispanics come in all colors. It's an ethnicity not a race.

  • 1 nation, 1 language, 1 flag... slightly resembles Ein Reich, ein Volk, ein Fuhrer, doesn't it? And we all know where that led. English just naturally evolved to be a commonly used language and hardly any language has a potential to overtake it so far. It's just funny how hostile people can get when they find out they may be dragged out of their comfortable everyday routine by being forced to learn another language, even though it's not even a real threat.

  • hahahahahah, lety, you go sister!

  • shut Up! you Idiot, that is not going to happen, even do, that is a lot of people like me with hispanic backgrouds, teach our childrens spanish, English will be their only lenguage they'll use, even when I tell them that been a bilingual is good for them!!!

well in another words, Shut Up, and like Argentinians says CALLATE PEDAZO DE PELOTUDO!!!!

  • trevor...looks like you deliberately used the crappiest background you could find. argentina for those that don't get out much, is beautiful and has the most breathtaking vistas in the world. the beaches alone rival those of the euro ones. argentina is a melting pot of mostly italians, french, spaniards, and germans. even our food and slang is italian. you are all a bunch of ignorant and uneducated asses. don't bunched us up with the indians of central america.

  • i'm gonna tell it in inglish so you fucking idiots can understand:

    U.S IS NOT AMERCIA SUCKERSS

U ARE A TINY LITTLE PART OF IT..YEAH

    THE UGLY PART

SO STOP THINKING UR THE BEST OF THE WORLD COS UR NOT,,

    i'm from argentina..so?

  • some ppl are so rude......i think its a great question and amercia should be open to change!

lol great video and great spanish skills!!

lol more practice and you'll be great! ^_^

  • Funny how this ssentiment is accetable as long as it doesn't work in reverse.

  • It's only a matter of history that English is the main language in the United States. There's nothing special about English, or bad about Spanish, that makes it that way. Where Spanish has a complex conjugation system, English has complicated word order. No language is better than another.

  • First of all ,let me congratulate you on taking interest on this debate, and wanting to improve your Spanish; I'm from Argentina myself, and although Spanish has been declared the second most spoken language in the world,i don't really see it "overtaking" another language no time soon,we can't predict the future for sure,,,but for all I've seen over the years,Spanish just keeps growing and growing non-stop ,as different cultures keep combining more and more...

  • America has always been a country made up many different cultures, using many different languages. Not just Spanish Try learning our common language, English, while using your own language at home or wherever else you want. But my non English speaking ancestors HAD to learn English; to communicate with those outside their small groups, to become an American. If I moved to a Spanish speaking country, it would be MY responsibliity to assimilate as much of their language and culture.

  • tacluvstoons, if you move to a Spanish speaking country, you would most undoubtedly be moving into a homogeneous society, unlike the US. So your responsibilty would be a given. One of the benefits of a heterogeneous society is the opportunity to assimilate other languages and cultures...and vice versa. I agree that they need to learn English. Many do, especially the children. And Spanish isn't "quickly" overtaking English, nor will it. "Trevor's" assertion is absurd.

  • Jajjajajaa se estan poniendo como locos, 1 country 1 flag, 2 languaje like canada

  • It makes me want to vomit, YOU thinking we are going to change our language for a bunch of wet back criminals.... wake up and smell the green card.

Build another raft, this time leave

  • 1 Country, 1 Language, 1 Flag.... get over it or get out.

  • Bravo. I'm glad this discussion has been taken over by someone with sense, and not the criminal pro-illegal immigrants slums that were terrorising this discussion.

  • Lots of ignorance in the world OcalaFlorida. Maybe you should pick up a book and read some more, and do everyone a favor by not submitting such rude comments!

  • to u steltzen, you have lost it. I'm pretty sure america has always been the one who is pushing. The spanish culture was here before we were. Mexicans are made up of asians and indians, indians were here first, no? We came here taking over every dang thing, so acutally it belongs half to the mexicans and hispanic community anyways. Lets hope they offer us corn and turkey cuz if not....we're screwed

  • indians and asians? I hope you mean by telling "indians" the natives of america in the zone of mexico(aztecs and mayas). Asians? wich ones? Mexico is native and europian, mostly from spain.

  • you come to america, you have to adjust to the american culture not america adjust to you!!

  • What is the American culture. PLEASE describe it to me, please...

  • awsome...i completely agree

  • We've been speaking English in this country since its start and the people who lived here before it was the u.s. did too. Listen, i'm up for spanish being a highly spoken language in america but the offcial language in this country should be english. if you want to truely come into this country to be a citizen pls learn english. I wouldn't expect ppl to speak English if i moved to france or mexico or something.

  • I hope you mean the pilgrims and not native americans! English is the language of the skies and of business. Spanish will never overtake this.

  • Spanish culture has always tried to push itself on people?? I'm American and I think that we are the ones that force our culture on others. Try traveling or living somewhere else and you'll see what I mean. I currently live abroad and have lived in various countries so I've experienced it first hand.

  • Most people of they hear someone speaking something other than Enlish, they feel threatened. And I understand their point of view but it never killed anyone to broaden their cultural horizons by learning another language.Just because most Spanish speaking countries are third world doesnt mean that they don't have a rich cultural heritage, they do.

  • You said it.

  • I'm from Miami and in Miami 80% of the local population speak Spanish and most Churches have bilingual Pastors so Miami is way ahead of the game here. Just because someone doesn't know how to speak the Spanish doesn't mean they can't learn.

  • Bilingual? Try some towns in the USA are already SPANISH ONLY. EVen in court rooms. Oh yeah buddy!

  • I aint american so i suppose my opinion doesnt matter to americans :)

  • For Spanish to become a primary language in this country, there will have to be a cultural situation where it is integral in children's development. IMO, the only situation where this occurs is when the parents know both languages, which isn't often, so it'll be some time.

  • nostalia you're a dumb shit! . . people who speak spanish aren't visiting. there are millions of people in the U.S. who speak spanish and will most likely live here for the rest of their lives. . . i think it's great.

  • This is a fantastic question. Good job!

  • well they teach kids at an early age to speak in different languages but the question is what should be the most widely used language? I still prefer english

  • it doesnt matter if the majority speaks french, spanish or whatever, america will never adopt another language

  • America, as the true meaning of the term wich is the big land mass from Canada to Argentina, uses english, spanish, french, german (just to name some examples of europian languages) plus the big wuantity of native american languages and dialects (from native peoples; comanche, sioux, azteca, maya, inca, mapuche, guarani)

  • I speak spanish and english and i live in minnesota and being bilingual helps to broaden your mind and not to be so close minded about other things. but i agree that why should we have to learn a foreign language for a select group that are visiting our country?

  • children can learn a lot at an early age they could easily learn a second laguage as easily as they pick up english. it doesn't have to be spanish but i think that almost every should learn a second language its cool to learn about cultures and stuff so its not that big of a deal.

  • i agree, doesnt have to be spanish, but i think all kids should learn two languages. i actually cant imagine not knowing two languages

  • Hillary sucks clit. I'd say sucks cock, but I guess Monica beat her to it!

  • spanish a beautiful language so it wouldn't be that bad. plus as a bilingual country we could be able to communicate with many other people around the world, its good to know more than one language even if its not just spanish. many buisnesses value employees who know more than one language and can do buisness around the world.

  • A. its america so learn are F'in language we shouldn't have to learn yours english here so learn it or stay out, B. don't complain about how we don't understand you you shoulda learned englais before coming and C. stop taking are jobs

  • One would think that someone demanding that others learn a certain language could at least spell basic words like "our" correctly instead of looking like an idiot and writing "are." Not to mention "shoulda," "its" and a complete lack of proper capitalization and punctuation.

  • Ok I know I'm an idiot, English writing was not exactly my strong suit I speak it better then I write and type it, I'm not saying learning a foreign language is bad, I'm saying don't expect us to change to accommodate them

  • It's a simple thing,......survival of the fittest!!!those that know more than one language will get the jobs and those that don't take a guess....fat and dumb will not be able to compete anymore.....

  • English = national language, therefore I am not going to learn a whole new one to try to communicate to foreigners coming here, it should be the other way around.

  • It is, so dont worry about it ...

  • I think it is a stupid question. Changes take place without anybody's "preparation", including the President. I don't think the USA is threatened by Spanish or any other language for that matter; you better learn a good English and this will help you here far more than your"improved Spanish"

  • that happened to me once

  • Wow didn't people come from Europe and bring their language and spread it throughout the new world. Wasn't the Native American languages here first. The evolution of language and culture means that not everything stays the same. Get used to change.

  • my god people alot of rasist crap America is a free country speak whatever language cause freedom makes our country great, I mean who really cares if they speak Spanish i mean come on, sure it would be a good idea for immagrants so they can get better jobs, but still ts up to them

  • ya with all the immagration it will eventually become bilingual, thats why i took spanish in school

  • In Mexico, in order to become a legal citizen you must learn the native language! Why should it be any different here in the states?

  • This is not the point ... Is not about foreigners not lreaning english ... of course the ydo! It's about USA citizens learning other languages too ... Aint hard to understand

  • I honestly think America needs to stop letting people speak other languages. Seriously... Other people need to show respect. When I travel, or move.. I fucking LEARN the language to where I'm going. Others just have no respect for others country's. They rape and plunder America. It's pretty damn stupid if you ask me.

  • haha are you serious? 99.99% of americans speak english elsewhere in the world and disregard the native language, almost expecting the rest of the world to have some knowledge of the english language.

  • MTV PARENTAL CONTROL..

yeah i was on it.hahah lmao

  • MTV PARENTAL CONTROL..

yeah i was on it.hahah lmao

  • You're right, I as an Americann in my "ignorant days" expected for everyone to know how to speak English and if they didn't I was outraged. But now I've learned from my mistakes.

  • MTV PARENTAL CONTROL..

yeah i was on it.hahah lmao

  • oh shove it. English is the language of America, if anything Spanish ; America will be like French ; Canada.

  • MTV PARENTAL CONTROL..

yeah i was on it.hahah lmao

  • I'm American and I think the only reason why English is a worldwide language is because of the countries that speak it. If Latin America was a first world continent the worldwide language would be Spanish. The point I'm trying to make is that people don't speak English because it's a beautiful language, they speak it out of economic necessity.

  • you're totally right dude, In fact I'm argentinian and I speak english because if not I'm out of the fucking system and doomed to wash floors 24/7 xD

so... you're totally right :P good point

  • Boludo!

  • I live in san dieago. In the heaviest hispanic popalation in the usa. I evan have gon to Tijuana way more than once. I have yet to meat a hispanic persion under the age of 40 that did not know english.

Hispanic people are moving into or working in the us. But thay 90%+ learn english first.

  • r u retarded. there is no national language in america. so there will be no change. you can speak what ever language you want. if you want you can speak english, spanish, polish, german, italian, what ever.

  • ur so fuckin stupid

hijo de puta no tenes idea la concha de tu mama

  • what the hell kinda of public school did u go to that had latin?

  • There is something called a 'work visa'. That puts a real clinch on having to learn Spanish.

  • dude WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU RELLY FROM!?? because you have a thick accent ad you don't sound like you're from the states.

  • great video!

  • There is nothing to prepare for, English is the language for business. Well over a billion people in the World speak it. Spanish doesn't even come close. The US will never be bilingual.

  • You are a moron... it is no where near English. Its growing yes but its not even close to over taking English. More and more mexicans, are learning English and their children are learning to speak only English.

  • si me preguntàs a mi, este flaco es gay y se vino a suckear un buenas argentinian dicksssss!! ahh y si, salimos champions of the world in sub 20!!! jajaja

  • its said that english is the hardest language to learn. i took latin in high school so im all set for romance languages.

  • english is the easiest language to learn..

russian, guarani and quenya are difficult languages to learn, anyone within 2 years of english at certain age is able to follow a conversation.

    Federico

    Argentina

    20 years

  • ajajajajajajaja you are here in argentina..

    you´re crazy

  • yes muy bien..but i hate aregentina and chile rocks balls they shouda won da fifa u-20 cup!! woot!! y el jeuvon ref es muy malo el jeuvon estaba pagado!!

  • u dont even know where u come from

    im ur daddy

  • chilenos mugrosos no sirven para nada

  • Blah blah blah. Hey idiot. The wealthiest people in this country control the fucking land, not the quantified majority. Spanish isn't taking over shit unless all the rich people suddenly die from lack of reality.

  • yup..lazy rich people...who do they get the work done from..the spanish speakers...the mexican workers...80 percent of what they get in their pocket is from the work of the spanish speakers...so yeah ..if it wasnt from them the rich wouldnt have as much as they do now...

  • HAHA 80%?? kinda like when the immigrants pulled that "strike" not to long ago to "hurt the American economy" in an attempt to blackmail congress into pass immigration reform... 80% is a bunch of BS

  • who gives a shit about a strike..them dumbasses just hiurt themselves when they did that shit...anywayz..ur full of shit too...i bet ur not of any mexican blood are u... if u are ur still full of shit

  • i don't see it replacing english as an international language. Try getting a chinaman to speak in spanish.

  • haha, gotta love the idiocy on youtube. In reply to "chindianism", who said we should try getting the chinese to speak spanish, it's already happening. I'm here in china right now and the chinese know that spanish is one of the most widely used languages in the world and many of them are learning it. There are plenty of business opportunities in the spanish speaking parts of the world, and the chinese will be there cashing in on them. 你一学习汉语,就明白中国一点儿。

  • i've lived in china all my life dipshite and i've yet to see any of my countrymen speak spanish or look like Antonio banderas, so there, phuck you.

  • Nice try dude. if you lived here you'd know that 2007 is China's "year of spain", to promote cross-cultural understanding. 而且如果你会说汉语你就能用汉语回答。

    get a life

  • fuck you. if you knew anythin chinese you'd know that this year is not year of spain, it's year of the pig dumass. u get a zodiac calendar now k and i'll work on that life part.

  • its the same thing with english!

when a language is SO diferent from the one you speak (in this particular case that would be chinese), it doesnt matter whether it is french, portuguese, spanish, german, english or polish the language you want to learn.

  • Very good question, although the Latin Americans who move to the U.S. and don't learn English are the ones who are really at a disadvantage.

Besides, if you really want to prepare yourself, start learning Mandarin.

  • Bueno, Trevor!!!!

  • ya gotta catch "Vampire - Out of the Coffin"

  • Yeah, like african americans are going to be able to learn another language. Youtube has proven to me that most are really struggling with english. I think it would be cruel.

  • Spanish won't become the international language ... it's to far complex mutch mor ethen english... English is the international language because it's so simple and easy to learn. My self i'm portuguese which far more complex then spanish even being from the same roots but all latin based languages are to fat complex to become an international language. Spanish in america is just a fan because people think it's cool it will pass

  • i speak both english and spanish and i have to say- spanish is pretty easy to pick up. aside from more congugations, the spanish language is not that complex. in terms of spelling, english is ridiculous-constantly breaking every rule it sets. I think it is important for americans to be bilingual, but spanish isnt even close to being more popular than english in america. BTW, portugese is very complicated, so i hear.

  • But in what i mean is that gramer rules in latin languages are mutch more complex to learn then english ... spelling u catch up very easelly but knowing the how-to use the gramer isn't that easy

  • it doesn't matter if it (or if it doesn't) become the international language, its a matter of culture, knowing 2 languages (it doesn't matter witch) is better than knowing only one.

  • what is so wrong with diversity? i mean, yeah, america is losing a language that isnt even theres, but who cares? diversity isnt bad, it is the people who are xenophobic

  • what the us needs its not a second language. its human rights and better health services..

idk if u havent heard but in Argentina health services and public hospitals are FREE.. yes FREE.. in the us if you are diagnosed with a cancer.. like my bf.. you have 5-10yrs to live.. oh w8 w8 i 4got to mention he pays thousands of dollars every time he has to go for a check up ~.~
