  • This song is so hard to find. I can't believe that -- it is so good.

  • this is great!!! thank you!

  • Velvet Cotorro!!

  • Those glasses and that hair! xD

  • I am not a huge fan of this song, but I have all the early 70s Mac albums, and THEY ARE ALL AWESOME.

  • This version of the band will always be Fleetwood Mac to me. Bob's vocals are more Paris than FM here, though.

  • Heard this version of Fleetwood Mac in San Francisco on a double bill. After a burned-out looking Eric Burdon opened badly, Mac played a very good set, with Christine's vocals and Mick's drumming particularly stellar. Although lead guitarist Bob Weston had left FM, Bob Welch handled riffology honors just fine and even rocked out on a few Peter Green tunes. It was a transitional version of the band,, between the Green-Kirwan-Spencer blues-rock powerhouse and the latter 1970's pop juggernaut.

  • @perrythelaconicone who is Bob Watson & was he on any FM album & if so whch?

  • this actually isn't thad bad

Abit more like Pg's experimental days

    I thnk Ilike it !!

  • I was in the audience during the taping of this episode of the Don Kirshner show.

  • Bob Welchs glasses drove me nuts....they were always sliding down his nose ! lol

  • I remember watching this when it originally aired and then reading a couple of years later Christine, John, and Mick saying when they watched this they realized it was time for Bob to go. They had enough of the on stage raps about the Bermuda Triangle. On to the next and most lucrative version of Fleetwood Mac.

  • @betterdays105 Actually, no. Bob left on his own accord....they didn't want him to go...the were going to add Buckingham & Nicks whether Bob stayed or left.

  • wow look at mick fleetwood..wow !!!!!cool love bob welch

  • yes the triangle, what do you know?

  • ah, the ARP string ensemble...what would the 70s have been without it?

  • Well, first of all. This vedio is nof Fleetwood Mac. Nuff said

  • yup

  • boobpboobapboobap

  • What album was this on. I first heard it back in the early 70's and it's taken me all this time to find the name of it. THANK YOU for posting it.

  • Bermuda Triangle was on the Heroes Are Hard To Find album.

  • FYI: I uploaded 3 songs from 'Heros are Hard to Find', including a music video made to this song, 'Bermuda Triangle' from the CD, way back in October 2008. They stayed up a few weeks until WMG (Warner Music Group) blocked them worldwide.

I tried, ut WMG is a killer of so much music on Youtube ... we take risks uploading copyrighted materials for you folks.

  • Did they fine you ?

  • No, not yet. But legal fees could be huge. QUOTE: "Repeat incidents of copyright infringement will result in the deletion of your account and all videos uploaded to that account. In order to prevent this from happening, please delete any videos to which you do not own the rights, and refrain from uploading additional videos that infringe on the copyrights of others."

I tried to give you this (A+) song which needs no "remastering." Now I am 1236bigcat on YT ... and I still take risks for you.

  • What exactly is "lesbian rock"?

  • Lol, Bob Welch was carrying on FM's tradition of singer/guitarists who were flat-out *weird*! Green, Spencer, and Kirwan before him, and Buckingham after him--all great musicians, and all weird mammajammas!

  • fleetwood mac didn't do too many songs that were stories.

  • very masculine, before stevie nicks turned it into lesbian rock

  • They should re-master the early 70s albums. Many of those songs don't deserve to remain in obscurity!

  • All of the Warner Bros. Mac albums are available (or were, at the very least) on CD. I have them all, and they sound pretty good. I haven't seen a foraml "Newly Remastered" series of them like Warners did for Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell and others. But I bought a couple of those remasters and compared them to the earlier version, and I actually preferred he non-"remastered" versions. So I'd say grab whatever versions of these CDs are available, and enjoy!

  • @happykilojoule Amazon has this "LP" (sorry) re-mastered to CD. Where is the title track. Heroes Are Hard To Find. All the early albums have been re-done to cd. They aren't lost.

  • I learned that cool little Major 7 arpeggio from listening to Bob... Totally Joe Pass... cool!

  • The best FM line-up.

  • @grgagrgagrgagrgagrga The best FM lineup, with Kirwan.

  • No, Danny Kirwan was not on the Kirschner show. This show was in 1974. Danny left Fleetwood Mac in 1972.

  • @cmcviefan57 yep thats when bob welch steped in. you know peter green cam eback to end a tour when spenced dissapered. aparently it was the best they sounded.

  • Thanks again anything at all with Danny Kirwan?? I could have sworn he was on Don Kirschner

  • thank you so much!

  • Doug Graves

  • @cmcviefan57 RIP Doug. Passed away a number of years ago.
