Works but what I learned the fastest and the easiest just make iron daggers all u need is one Iron ignot and one leather strip also buy iron ore to make the ignot and and stay in Whiterun there is 2 different smithers there and Belethor that sales them and when u need more just sleep for around 48 hours for them to re-suply this took me from smithing 24-100 in 35min?

Actually, I did this and I only get up to 93 but I wated a shitload of money... i think all costed 12,000 gold.... so when I made the Daedric armors and weapons... it again costed me a fortune for the daedric gauntlets, boots, helmet, battleaxe , warhammer, 2swords, shield, and the great sword.... and my weapons are all legendary... I think with all the items I bought for this... I think it all costed 17,000 gold... so... yea.... fuck.... and.... the daedric armors weigh... 260+... so yea.

IFFF you do have the money (15000+), start buying leather and leather strips in Solitude, then Windhelm, then Whiterun. Turn all the leather into leather strips and according to how many strips you have buy just as many iron ingots, then smith iron daggers. Became easier and faster. Props to @TheMonggrel

Not true. In raw form Daedric armour is the best but if you improve it to Legendary and do the same with Dragon, Dragonplate will be better. Hope this

Daedric is the beast heavy, Dragon isnt like forty pounds in wieght as I saw in your vids. so if your and archer I dont think it would be very beneficil to sneak around with 50 pounds of clunking armor and then trying to run for your life

i've found that a great smithing/money grind is the dwarven bow. just run a dwemer ruin and collect all the plate and scrap metal you can find. should easily get around 150-200 dwarven ingots and all you'll need for a bow is 3 dwarf ingots and 1 iron (2 dwarf and the iron to make and the last to upgrade). slap on some enchant if u want to level that skill and earn a little more in the process

@LaidbackLukee Don't power level. Your gear just won't match what the enemies are offering (lukewarm and repetitive death). Advance normally, and only power level a few levels if you must. Preferably just the skill and not the character level.

@Khornedevotee actually the dragon armor is best. im not sure if my numbers are EXACT but you get the idea. dragon armor has like 650 armor and deadric has like 700, BUT after armor level 563 all other armor points are useless because 563 is armor cap i think. the reason that dragon armor is BEST is because dragon armor weighs LESS then deadric armor.

@xXelmarcoCFCXx yep iron daggers. take about 10k to get to 100 depending on if you mine any iron or hunt for leather. And then you can enchant the daggers to get to 100 chanting. Hide bracers work too but you can buy more iron than leather so youll be going from vendor to vendor more. Borrowing iron from shops helps :)

@11BrenSmith11 because you have high level smithing and low level combat skill. if you train only warfare skills (one/two handed, armor, destruction...) you'll become a bit overpowered. (you can easily find leveled armor on some dudes/punks or lying around in dungeons). the same for alchemy and enchanting.

to fix that use the console:

player.setav smithing 10

player.setlevel 6

this will downgrade you and your smithing skill but all monsters will be nerfed too

when your around lv 12 go to reften (the side on the lake) speck to the argonian for the qest to take back the lexicon the reward is a new perk it makes smithing inprove = 15% and give a 25% bost to aromer rateing if whereing dwemer gear them make items (pick the warrior standing stone for a 20% to smithing) finaly sleep in a owned bed (or bed from a bar) for a xtra + 5% to skills you will go much faster 20+5+15 = 40% faster ^_^ (if your a wherewolf or vampire you cant get sleep bonuses)

@CalSmithy16 go to some inns, and ask for gossip, qkeep asking until they say something about a kid doing the black sacrament(if you dont get this gossip, leave the inn, re-enter and ask again) this will give a misc quest, that becomes the quest innocence lost, complete it, fast travel to another hold, you will get a letter, after you get this letter, sleep in any inn, and you have started the DB questline, which gives you a free set of shrouded armor.

1. Daedric needs 90 and Dragon needs 100, so even if you have like 200 smithing and improve both, Daedric will have more armor rating.

2. Base armor rating of Daedric armor (I mean armor not other parts) is higher than Dragon by 3, so no way to make Dragon better than Daedric.

Here's the best way:

1. Buy iron ingots and leather strips

2. Craft iron daggers

3. Enchant iron daggers and sell them

Daggers enchanted with stamina damage can be sold for approximately 200 gold each. Don't remember values of other enchants but stamina is one of the most valuables.

If you do the companions quest line and talk to the guy at the skyforge about the other dude's soul "becoming one with the forge" or some shit you unlock the "Draugr" category which allows you to make ancient nord armor
