What killed the economy??? Fannie Mae- Freddie Mac are the creations of government, not the people. The gas jump is due to world supply, not the people. Wall Street greed is CEO choices, not the people. The people are sound and need to take control of their govt again. that will not happen with Barack Obama, who made $165,000.00 off of Fannie Mae just before she fell...... How "lucky" is that?

First off, not all major financial institutions will not be going bankrupt. We are not headed for a major recession or depression. There will be a correction either naturally or institutionally. Long after this crisis has been averted,which it will or put off on future generations, Obama will stick it to all US citizen's with higher prices on all goods and services because of his tax plan. When prices are high, people buy less and employers have to lay off employees.

I will be voting for John McCain. As a small independent business owner, I have the pleasure to inform all the tax loving Obama loving supporters that I will gladly transfer my extra taxes onto you, the consumer, to pay for my added overhead. And before ,you call me any certain words just remember all businesses will be doing this. Businesses don't pay taxes they just pass the increase onto consumers. So if you like paying extra for just about everything you buy, vote for Obama.

That's a warped argument. There is a limit as to how much tax you can pass on to consumers. No business is capable of passing on 100% of their taxes.
However the biggest flaw of ur argument is that the Bush tax cuts did not translate to lower costs for consumers ... my sense is that higher taxes for your type will end up being absorbed into your margins.
Additionally, since 95% of Americans will be getting a tax cut under the Obama plan, whatever price hikes(if at all plausible),will wash out.

The real point is that it is about the "workers". We need start do more insourcing and less sending jobs away overseas. The government needs to impose heavy taxes on business who do so and still insist on doing business and making money in the U.S. as well. This is just smart thinking, straight fact talking.
