  • this video is pure gold amazing

  • fukkin mental

  • wow!

  • is it andrew carnegie

  • Piece of cake...... not for me but my dad.... bet my paw could take him to the cleaners... i sit and listen to my dad for hours.

he plays double sided for more range.....

  • one of those chillssss... brrr

    perfect!

  • How could anybody dislike this?!

  • no one told me that steve jobs played the harmonica

  • Whats the name of the song that starts at 2:06?

  • absolute genius

  • Actually gave me chills :D

  • ignore me ...borrocks

  • Are you referring to the beetovens 9th (choral symphony) ?That was the first one.

    hey play some blues man

  • put some metal mixed in there, perfect!

    XD

  • What an under appreciated instrument that is making difficult music with incredible precision. I am blessed by hearing someone managing the technical difficulties of both song and instrument. God bless you dear sir,

    Jim

    Tennessee

  • stov jobs?? look like hahaha

  • Do THAT, Sonny Boy Williamson

  • @7nevyn7 yeah Ben is good but its a completely different style than this and this one takes way more skill... I'll bet this guy can be bluesy too but the accuracy of his notes combined with the speed is just unreal...

  • The William Tell Overture on a Harmonica. Now I have seen everything. AMAZING!

  • .....Just one word.....AWESOME!!!

  • NOW THAT'S MUSIC!!!

  • Great, but search for Ben Bouman, not all that populair, but unbeatable...

  • Well you better listen to Brendan Power now.

  • wow, amazing.

  • love his accent! amazing

  • what style of harmonica is that? like the kind... chromatic diatonic etc.

  • @boyplays24 10 hole diatonic. Chromatics are bigger and generally the player can't cover it entirely with his hands.

  • Im a person of Urban music, dubstep, grime, techno so on.. but this.. is just brilliant. I'm going out and buying a harmonica now. It would be so sick to play.

  • i have 1 word to discribe this "AWESOME"

  • He played it on a little diatonic , unbelievable !

  • That is crazy. I wish i will have that skill in 25 years. Simply amazing

  • 3 people suck

  • very amazing!

  • EARGASM!

  • Muy buena actuacion, por lo menos el publico deberia callarse tantito la boca y palmas para poder apreciar lo que ese señor esta ofreciendo ,,, que poca cultura musical(de parte de el publico). )p

  • what is the song that starts at 2:06

  • end is epic *.*

  • Es sorprendente como toca este señor la armonica, es un virtuoso no cabe duda, felicidades.

  • This man is cheating. He has CLEARLY borrowed harmonica talent from Chuck Norris.

  • i didnt know steve jobs played harmonica :P

  • kick ass playing!

  • @Metadragonfire thanks :)

  • Awesome! what a pair of lungs!

  • This video is proof that intense devotion pays off...

  • I'll bet his lips hurt after that ;)

  • Someone knows the title of the song that starts at 0.53? thanks ^^

  • @fratelollo Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring - J.S. Bach

  • @PhilipvKlaassen thx !

  • @fratelollo

Bach: Cantata, BWV 147, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring

  • any idear what the name of the last song he plays is ?

  • @LukeH1122 The overture to Rossini's William Tell

  • Diobbeo

  • What kind do you think he uses? and how many holes?

  • Esse cara é simplesmente fantastico.... Gedeon . curitiba_ Brasil

  • cool cool cool :)

  • Holy Shitzzle

  • such as great! unbelievable playing!!!

  • He can play. :)

  • @Roweiblueser typisch deutscher Kommentar

  • @whmozart ...jetzt quatsch halt kein Mist !

  • chris wilson kills this guy in technical and skill !!!! almost makes me soung like i can play - almost!!

  • Is this a vid of Chris Wilson? No, it's not. This is great. i'd love to see you playing in Carnegie Hall.

  • @MistaHugh scales are nice .....

  • unbelieveable!!

  • Comment removed

  • Love it!

  • IN SANE

  • Blimey! The Dogs Danglies!!

  • I don't know, harmonica belongs in jazz and blues for me. This is talent, but it's just not something I'd play on the stereo.

  • He went to Julliard with that thing. And he is also the harp player in Blue Traveler.

  • I know that you're joking.

I'll buy the Julliard thing but...

    John Popper man....John fuckin' Popper.

  • Is that who it is? Oh my bad haha. Just a sax player here. My dad is into playing harp so I thought it was the same guy.

  • jesu joy of mans desireing is the song.

  • The must impresive armonica player ! If you play the instrument you know how dificult is to play does lines. So perfect !

  • the first song he played was jesu joy of mans desiring

  • What is the first song he plays?

  • it's a church song called "jesus minuit" or something like that

  • Easy to learn, but years to master

    :D

  • what a guy :)

  • very intresting

  • i can play the harmonica so when i was watching this, my first reaction was "ehhh nothing special... -.- " but then it got crazy and my reaction turned to "Holy shit! :O "

  • How did you learn to play the harmonica? I've been interested for ages but cant find a way to learn- internet websites tend to be...shit.

  • Unbelieveable, just unbelieveable - Buddy is certainly in a class by himself. There's a lot of great harp players, but he's one the top five anywhere. And playing classical songs on a diatonic harp to a formal crowd is about as tough as you can get - who else can touch that!

  • perfect!!!

  • That was insane. I didn't know those songs could be played on a harmonica. Buddy Greene is the man.

  • i can barely play that on the piano, that guys amazing

  • Hay quá bà con ơi

  • staright SICK!

  • Thanx to Buddy Greene i can play the william tell overture on the harmonica

  • oh! AMAZING!!! I decided to buy harmonica :)

  • lol Makes me want to too.

  • lol too bad Carnegie Hall isn't in Texas, there would have been massive volleys of six shooters going off in ovation to that man's brilliant playing. He's a true son of the South.

  • Absolutely AWESOME! Harmonica players need to get a whole lot more recognition and credit for their abilities! AMAZING!

  • Absolutely amazing

I got goosebumps towards the end.

Crowds ALWAYS go crazy for the high notes.

  • amazing, extremely inventive, classical harmonica. 5 4 -4 5 6 -5 -5 -6 6 6 7 -7 7 6 5 4 -4 5 -5 6 -6 6 -5 5 3 4 -3 4

  • Unbelievable! I luuuuv it! Which Gaither Video is this on?

  • Oh my god! whats the name of the song he was played 2nd? not the "oh susanne", but the next on...

  • It is called "Jesu joy of man's desire

  • Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring...Johann Sebastian Bach. A great favorite of mine, he plays in beautifully.

  • Very awesome. I enjoyed that.

  • reason im getting one ^^

  • WOW !!!!!!! He rocks!!

  • He's no John Popper.

  • Right, he's better than Popper.

  • He is very good, I am not arguing that. He just doesn't seem to have the same soul that Popper puts into his music.

  • i like popper better too

  • You can't even effectively compare the two if all you have to go on is this video and Popper's Blues Traveler albums and live shows. Two totally different experiences.

  • ded good!

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • Yes it would.

  • You know thats not all one breath. You make different notes by breathing in and out.

  • its still a nice workout for 'em

  • Has to be good for the lungs.

  • How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practise.

  • He's very good, I will just have to train my breathing better to last a bit longer i reckon.

  • that piece probably took his breath away..

    haha

  • I play some harmonica, and that stuff near the end is about as difficult as you'll ever have to try on a harmonica. I know he had to work long and hard on that.

    Great video!

  • He seems so humble. I love it.

  • i would love to see this guy jam with sonny terry. what a party.

    thanks for posting this!
