Inspirational! Might I ask how you got used to the whole no rack tom thing? I want to start playing with one of my floor toms on my left to broaden my diversity, but am having a very hard time playing things with it like that..and could you give any advice to ambidexterity/polyrhythms? I LOVE people who play your style, and Mathcore influenced type music.

@jarhead4214 Obviously I'm not Travis, but his playing inspired me to try the rack tom on the left thing... it's not as hard as you'd imagine! I did it to free up space in front of me for more comfortable crash and splash positioning. I find paradiddles certainly help when you're playing like that. It's pretty weird incorporating them into everyday playing, but it's really helped to develop my creativity on a "normal" setup and I haven't even been doing it that long!
