  • My maiden name is Biggar from the USA. My Dad's great grandparents were born in Moniaive, Scotland.As were my Morton and Walker ancestors. It was great to take my Dad to the town and read Welcome to Biggar! It's a great little town! I love Scotland!!

  • I hear about Biggar Scotland. I'm from Biggar Canada. Our town's motto is "New York is Big but this is Biggar. You can visit our town's website. I have been to beautiful Scotland. And I love the scottish pipes sound. But you're driving on the wrong side of the road!

  • This is a great video. And I'm not saying that just because I'm in it! Biggar is a great place. I would not move from here or live anywhere else if you offered me a million pounds.

    Bevoin1970 DO stop the next time you pass through. The Coffee Spot do great hot filled rolls and Peter's (halfway downtown by The Royal Bank on the lefthandside southbound) do the best fish and chips!

  • I passed through Biggar again today, having been to Glenrothes, upon my return journey I stopped at the Coffee Pot, where I picked up a nice cup of tea to take away. Cheers.
