@Insertyernamehere i believe you are asking the same question i've already answered in the earlier comments. please read them and if i'm wrong about it answering your question, let me know.
@Christsremnant imagine the first example game. now imagine that black aimed the queen at f2, the bishop at g2, and the knight at h2. black would not have a threat or the ability to break through at all. instead black identified the square that 1) lots of black pieces could attack and 2) lots of white pieces could not rush to defend, and then focused on that point. the result of that focus should also speak for itself :)
@MrIran69 on which move? move 1 of the second example? if i'm guessing right, it's because black would move the knight to e5 attacking white's queen and bishop c4. then for example Bb5+ Bd7 Bxd7+ Qxd7 and white is not doing that great: the center is locked by black's blockade on e5, and that means it will be very hard (impossible) to generate a good attack here.
@InfinityCurve sorry. you can re-watch it or pause if it's going too fast. i don't know how to post pgns here on youtube? but i'll post them in my blog and then add a link here in the description.
@wwwChesscom You know, after I posted that I did use the pause feature & found the games much more instructive that way. Probably the way I should do my videos too (well a little slower) as the YouTube time limit is a factor. I tend to have the opposite problem (go too slow).
@wwwChesscom sweet, videos like these are really awesome! i put links to them in emails to lots of chess players in western colorado and every once and a while people tell me they watched it, or their kids watched it and thank me. :)
off topic: i strongly suggest not doing any more of those partial "sample" videos. those are really annoying, like trash on the side of a highway or a tourist trap. wastes my time and makes it hard to find what i really want.
@luffyzanderssen thanks, glad you liked this one; i think it's the most instructive one i've done for yout so far. and yeah, we stopped uploading the advertising sample videos some time ago.

@wwwChesscom hmmm, ya thanx, those are pretty nice, i have one of those at my site already, i just sort of wish it moved around or did something cooll. those are nice though, and come to think of it i can't really think of any ideas to improve them. i think what i really need to do is make a new table on the left hand side of my home page and move it there where people will see it more. and make a "meet the coaches" section and put the "challenge me" widget on my personal page.
@luffyzanderssen the way the widgets look is and act on my page may not be the greatest, but they're still good, not bad (in my humble opinion), but at least where they lead to when you click on them is awesome. for some reason the chesstempo widget takes people to their database page which seems silly to me since it seems more logical that it should take them to their home page or a special page where they are directed to start playing tactics or endgame puzzles right away.
@luffyzanderssen hmmm, well, if you're interested there's an .ahk program called, "aaron's youtube television" that you could be used to make a php widget that embs just your youtube videos on people's pages in a really cool way. a couple people have shown interest in making a .php script for it but you'd probly want to use java. i know it's probably not in the money or time budget but i think something like that would be really cool.
Really it is an awesome channel, it has increased my thinking level.

It is not a checkmate in then end because black can play Qc7 but once queen captures the queen on c7 it is a checkmate
