Homosexual activists understand the power of words.
Please visit my channel to watch a one-minute video clip in which popular atheist author Richard Dawkins admits that homosexual activists "hijacked the word 'gay'".
The word "homosexual" is more appropriate and accurate because it, unlike the word "gay", actually describes the behavior/attraction/relationship being discussed.
The word "gay" helps homosexual activists push their agenda.
The fact of the matter is that whenever one speaks the truth , it gets to people, they have problems accepting it, while it inspires people equally as much as it annoys others. But everyone has a right to opinion and expression. If you're going go dislike, give hate comments, your will. You just go on to show us how true all this is.
I LOVE the idea of the 99. It's wonderful that it is based on a set of positive qualities. The only concern that I have is the religious aspect. I sure wish Hitchens was still around...he'd know how to phrase it just right. All I can say is that Islam is overall not a force for good...the people themselves are good but the religion is poison. It's nice that this man found a wonderfully creative & positive story. I would pay to see the 99 movie in theaters but please drop the religious part of it
The Fuck... All the characters he showed us in his skit were created years ago. Doc Ock. , Jugernaut, And a gal with X-Ray vision?? SERIOUSLY??? Those things are years old, man!!
Sorry, I am not convinced... behind the whole speech, I can sense his hate towards the jews and the rest. At some point, he even sounded as if he is competing with the jews !
1) Superheroes and religion don't match, no matter the religion, unless of course handled with a good writer who doesn't just want to push an agenda.
2) Islam is a touchy touchy subject for some people who like to pretend the extremists of it are the only people in it, when they are in the minority.
@Akatam0t0ma And how would you know that? All you've been shown is what the media WANTS YOU to see. Which do you think would bring in bigger numbers? Naif Al-Mutawa's comic and how it's reaching out to non-Muslim readers or a suicide bomber?
The characters themselves are never outright described as being Muslim themselves. With the possible exception of a few characters-such as Batina the Hidden- their religious backgrounds are ambiguous.
@HDvideosaregood Who are you to make such a claim? Have you even READ the comic? It's pretty clear you haven't.
Do names like Widad the Loving, Bari the Healer, Noora the Light and Hadya the Guide sound AT ALL like the kind of people who would do that? Or are you content in you arrogance because it's safer?
I suggest doing so before spouting such ignorance. wwwDOTthe99DOTorg It's available in English and is free for download..
I would think that more people would WELCOME attempts by those such as Dr. Al-Mutawa to try to stem the flow of ignorance, hatred and fear that has come as a result of the extremist militants who claim to espouse the faith of Islam. As he said in his New York Times interview this year, .it's dangerous to give a small percentage of people control to define what is and isn’t Islam. “This is what will take us to hell in a handbasket, and it’s our fault if that happens, nobody else’s.”
@Stopislamaphobia By the way stupid its spelled 'islamophobia' not islam(a)phobia, use an (o) not an (a). No wonder you cant answer my questions. You are so stupid, haha, you should have looked up the word before you built a whole argument on the term. Hahaha, I cant stop laughing, redo your site you dumb-ass. But by the time you do i will have copied your site and will re-post your stupidity for all to see.
@Stopislamaphobia You think your such a smart little boy don't you, with you little questions. Ooh, "no one has answered my brilliant questions" your too stupid to know when you have been refuted or to know when people just don't give a crap about your stupid questions. I not only answered you but used your own words against you.
But you have yet to answer my questions you coward, deceiver, you who practice taqiyyah. Stop worshiping Moo-Ham-Head and you will be happier.
Boy, are Moo-Ham-Head worshipers dumb or what. No wander they blow themselves to hell, with such demented and depraved values and debased minds who wouldn't commit suicide, the problem is why do they need to murder innocent people, you want to die go ahead push the button but leave others alone you freaking maniacs.
You people this is what Naïf was talking about. The way we act is scary and it's over who is wrong or right in their own appoin. You guys are being stupid ignorant. We as a society can't take another persons view point and except it, that doesnt mean we have agree with it, with out getting butt hurt by it. Tell you what: explain the word "taqiyya" in 3 parts:
1) give its TRUE definition
2) tell which minority sect uses that practice EXCLUSIVELY
3) explain the limited circumstances in which they use it
I stand ready to applaud you IF & WHEN you truthfully address those 3 points. However, history doesn't bode well for you. TO DATE: I've YET to see ONE Islamaphobe truthfully address those....and you're already lying.
@StopIslamaphobia Your a moron, first, you answered all the questions without knowing it. How you may ask, pay close attention and try to use logic. 1) You acknowledge the word exist and has a definition 2) you acknowledge that Muslims do use it, you assume there are divisions of Muslims "sect" so which one is the true Muslim sect? or are they all Muslims and my point stand that Muslims do use taqiyyah. 3) you acknowledge that there are circumstances in which it is used.
I stand ready to point out that you will use ignorant, illogical, inconsistent, deviating rants to avoid the subject. However, history doesn't bode well for you. TO DATE: I've Yet to see ONE worshiper of that fag, false prophet, child-molesting, rapist and liar Moo-Ham-Head tell the truth. U cannot tell the truth.
You're the boy (or girl) here because it's child's play to avoid answering a question with a question.....particularly since you don't know the answers to the initially posed questions/challenges.
And, as it stands, not one Islamaphobe is yet up to the challenge. Nothing" ignorant, illogical, inconsistent, deviating or ranting" about the truth I've posted.
he was clear that all the values he used are the values that no 2 people in the world disagree about.
so to all the people below who are against Dr Naif's idea, I just want to ask you do you wanna teach your children how to lie, cheat or steal ?
he was clear that everything he shared are a basic human beings value and if you learn more about Islam and about Quran you'll find what he is talking about.
One of my closest friends is an ex-Muslim and his family said that if he got beaten he'd deserve it. We need to wake up to the fact that Islam is barbaric. Ask an ex-Muslim the real facts and not a Muslim spreading untruths.
@mikeyo1234 you are an idiot! You obviosly have no idea what islame is. That barbaric one percent you see on the news isn't islam! The media only posts what people want tot hear. It's asses like you who sit in front of your t.vs and judge a religion you know zilch about. You're obvioulsy lieing about that "Friend" of yours because now reral muslim would say anything like that. that was a boldfaced lie that you posted. That's not islam at all go to a Masjid and listen to a speech you fool.
In the times we are in right now, all that we need is patience and optimism. We need not only to expect good out of others, but also the confidence that we are also good and want peace. There is so much confusion in the society that people can't even understand what they want and what they are. Instead of claiming that it is religion which is poison or something else, we need to encourage whatever efforts people are making to bring out peace and respect in the world.
This is Islamic propaganda that is being used to subvert children. Islam is an extremist religion that is bent on creating a theocracy all over the world.
@doubleg69 That is not true. It relative, like everything. If you wnt to have some good and ciritcal information about islam you should visit the "TED" side, from what this video was and search for islam or stuff. For me, that i am not a muslim, I cant´t say if the koran contains killing people or stuff. But I know that it teaches alot about tolerance. dont forget that stoning people, like stones adulters is a big part of the bible as well.
I think what he's trying to do is really admirable. taking qualities and characteristics children nowadays have very few avenue to impart from and placing it in cartoons. he has a point, no matter what religion you believe in, you want your kids to grow up honest, kind and respectful of everyone around them.
I'm sorry to those who believe Islam is all that negative stuff. because you guys don't take the time to read the whole Quran. you guys just zoom in to the verses you want and read them o
@superdooperdee The Christian church ruled through ignorance and fear for hundreds years before settling today as a backbone of society of the western world. Those who follows he word of the Bible and adheres it to the letter is no better than he who who follows the Quran and does the same. They both speak of slaying the nonbelievers. Who is the better religion then? The one that slays most non believers or the one that embraces peace through indifference of religion? I'm an agnostic.
So many on this comments page are filled with hate and prejudice. I wonder if the video would've got the same low ratings as it does had the speaker been an Atheist. Probably not.
I can say with utmost certainty that many here are thumbing this down because they know that the speaker's Muslim and so most of what he's saying is gonna come out as drivel either way because your brain just doesn't want to register what he's saying. I actually found the talk really insightful and humorous.
@CowardsFury Completely agree, that is what i noticed on TED, if it is religious in anyway, it is thumbed down, reguardless. It could be a way to end world hunger, but if it was presented by a religious person, thumbs down.
@CowardsFury I'm an infidel and if this talker was an atheist talking about atheist comics like this I'd be pretty pissed off too. When religion is tacked on to anything, it's just bullshit, I'm sorry if you don't like that. It's just poison; Religion poisons everything.
At least you have Christianity as the most violent religion in overall history as a scapegoat. That's a pretty ugly scapegoat i must say..Today is Islam the ONLY religion that perform terror in a grand scale in its name(15000+ deadly terror acts since 9/11). Instead of attacking people pointing out the obvious fact here, start getting mad at the verses of violent Jihad that all these terrorist are using, and still are relevant in much of Islam today.
@ManicMindTrick what is worse... 15,000 dead due to terrorist (which 9/11 was not that many), or 100k civlians dead while hunting down terrorists? Becuase that is the iraq war only. 150k civilians dead, and 2 million displayed, to kill 50k. If you group dead civilians, wounded, and displaced civilians in the name of fighting terrorism, you have 8 civilians lives ruined to remove one terrorist life. Who are the terrorists again? Religion or democracy?
i think this is positive thing he is trying to do here.
however i must admit when he pointed out wonder woman was "fully clothed" i must admit i laughed at that a little bit. some of that islamic hyper sensitivity managed to sneek in there.
love one another. embrace the good. encourage and embrace hope, love and peace. and be humble. have you never been wrong? have you ever thought you knew all there was to know until that glimmer of wisdom enlightened you and you saw the greater picture? why would you encourage hate?
@halcyon0830 Islam didn't create "mathematical logic". Who do you think you're kidding? You won't find a more backwards & violent religion than islam.
Did you forget Luke 19 verse 27? "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me."
The problem for you my brother in faith (as you should know that Islam comes from Muhammad that is a descendent of Ishmael, and his brother Isaac led to Jesus and Christianity, peace be upon all of them) is that you learn Islam from false propaganda. Please next time, before you criticize other religions, look into your own.
@TeamAI2 in Luke 19:27 Jesus is speaking in a parable of the king who gave each of his servants pounds or talents. He is not telling any of his followers to go kill anyone. Beware of people who just give one verse without the context. Peace bra
Does pointing out one of Christianitiys many horrible texts makes Islams 500 verses of hatred, violence and Jihad against non believers sound not so bad? At least those scriptures are totally irrelevat today which the Quran's isn't.
@TeamAI2 . Read ALL of Luke 19. "Even the devil quotes scripture." You conveniently left out some important context. It's interesting to note, just because someone quotes scripture doesn't mean they're imparting truth correctly. Like the devil they misapply it. But most fraudulent uses of scripture can be exposed by simply reading the context of the passage instead of small bits. It's the number one reason for countless misinterpretations.
Shame on you for pushing bigot propaganda on Islam. The Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, used to prohibit soldiers from killing women and children, and he would advise them: “...Do not betray, do not be excessive, do not kill a newborn child.” And he also said: “Whoever has killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise, though its fragrance is found for a span of forty years.”
This concept is not very well thought through ... Why would a powerful superhero need to submit to a medieval pedophile and mass murderer? That does not make any sense ... Superheroes should be fighting against people like Muhammad, not on their side.
@AntiChrist67 i love the name, antichrist (going to guess you are atheist) and your message of hate. Once again why my general opinion of atheists is low. I see more hate from atheists than muslims, and more lives ruined in the name of athiesism than muslim.
Swastika is not created out of the Crucifix, it's out of the hindu symbol called - svastika. If he meant to say swastika idolized thus replacing crucifix in minds of many nazis, then I agree. His later comment tells me otherwise.
@someman7 He is saying to turn a crucifix into a swastika. To take religion and bend it and twist it so it isn't even symbolize the same message. He was not trying to cite the source of the swastika.
@bluefootedpig But nazis didn't do that. Instead they substituted the religion for Nazi ideology. If anything, they fancied paganism. What I said stands.
@someman7 You are missing the expression he is saying. He is not stating a fact that they turned a crucifix into a swastika, he is merely using an expression of bending religion into something else.
@bluefootedpig You do not understand that what you say is even more severe. You say that they haven't necessarily turned the cross symbol into swastika symbol (literally), but they turned the religion into Nazi ideology. They did neither.
Sadly, it takes 99 names to describe God in Islam, yet, not one attribute is "Love." People really need to understand what this religion is founded upon before they allow trojan horses to enter their societies in the form of heroic characters that mask the truth about the faith. Compare all of the Koran to Christ's commandment "Love thy enemy and bless those who would persecute you". Compare the other commandments to the life of Mohammad who killed, stole, raped, pillaged, and plundered.
@GodHasOneName IT will come strange to every one who doesn't know that Holy Prophet (PBUH) fought many wars but not ever kill a single person rather just wounded, it is believed so, it was just his highness, All what prophet did was set examples for man kind, obviously those examples can not be dealt with the same way as it was done centuries ago.
I seriously hope your balls fell off tonight while your asleep.. for using those words for mohammad, or somehow I get a chance to do it myself.
uh.. did u even read the 99 names? Do you know what al wadud means? The LOVING. The other 98 names and attributes are also very noble attributes, and none what anyone would consider 'bad'.
Why cant you at least do 10 minutes of research to try and inform yourself before commenting and spreading weird ideas.
wow, this is amazing, I wonder why it has so many dislikes? okay if doesn't make sense to sum1, but how cud u dislike sumbody's so much hard work and input??
@Akunaeru i don't like when people make fun of themselves, u sound extremely lame with your justifications against something holding such broad meanings..
actually one of the three founders of youtube is a Muslim JAWED KARIM, the first pinhole camera was invented by another Muslim Alhazen in the 9th 10th century, software- muslim from india Azim Premji,
Basically everything else like the computer, internet, cars werent created by one person its a mix of people and nowadays its immigrants. NASA is like 20% immigrants, Silicon valley is almost half.
And the reason it stopped is because of them getting killed from outside invasions.
"reinforce positive messages of Islam" Like what? Like the way the super hero women are wearing head scarfs? What do the super heroes do, fight bravely against musical instruments, families with pet dogs, fornicators, alcohol, and cartoonists who draw mohammad?
Any good in Islam is coincidental and can easily be contrived by a child with a simple sense of fairness. Its restrictions and traditions are thorough, oppressive, and often barbaric and arbitrary.
@JoesephKatana Why do you want the children to dance with instruments on their heads, become Alcoholics, make fun of Prophets who changed people's life in a positive way, fornicate in public? n we don't have anything against dogs.
I don't care what u do in ur personal life, but don't have sex advertising in public and have sex in public its DISGUSTING, just provide a safe environment for children.
I cant impose my values upon u, why r u imposing urs on us?
Your "values" are restrictive, I'm in favor of freedom. Who said anything about "in public"? Personally I hate alcohol, fags and casual sex. But I'd never impose my values as rules on others. Islam seeks to penetrate their personal values into other cultures. When the rules of Islam impact what non muslims are can do, if just for political correctness, I have a problem with it. Muhammad is already "above criticism" on united states TV out of fear.
@JoesephKatana The positive message of Islam is all about child-molestation.
If you're into child molestation and want to do it legally, with no limits, go in a nice Islamic country. There you can marry preteen girls without any problems, and they're yours to do with as you please.
When they grow up, accuse them of adultery, or just divorce them, and get more preteens. Rinse and repeat, and presto - the "Peace of Islam" at its finest :)
@JoesephKatana *part 1* At least do some research before making your bullshit statement. Any good is coincidental? Really? Let me get back to you on that
Also i'm sorry, and banning alcohol is a bad thing? Has alcohol ever brought anything good? It lead to drunk driving, mindless drunk sex which brought unwanted pregnancies, alcoholism. Tell me the good in any of that.
And back to this 'coincidental' bullshit. Do you know that interest banking is banned in islam?
@9KoubA2 And I fail to find anything good about Islam, by your logic I should think Islam should be banned. But I don't, everyone has freedom to do what they will. This is precisely the problem I have with Islam, it bans so much and its holy book is full of passages that are easily interpreted in ways that justify violence, bigotry and misogyny.
If I wanted to read blanket general statements in favor of Islam I'd go to Islam apologetic websites.
@JoesephKatana Tell me, how much do you really know about what the quraan says? Do you honestly believe that everything you have read, if you really have read it, is interpretted correctly? Most likely what you've read is translated/interpretted by someone who opposed islam. Thus, their priority will be to find a negative interpretation. If you really want to say this properly, then find a proper translation/interpretation of the quraan and islam in general before making these statements.
@JoesephKatana Another thing. You fail to find anything good about islam because you're not even trying to look. That's your fault.
Please, please, please tell me what's good about any of these? What's good about Alcohol? Or sex with someone who you won't get married to? Or Gambling? Are you honestly that upset that these things are banned? The quraan also bans murder, rape, robbery. Are you also going to say that these things shouldnt' be banned?
@JoesephKatana Is it a problem for murder to be banned by islam? You might say that Murder, stealing, and rape all affect other people, but so does gambling, alcohol, and sex before marriage. Everything in the quraan is justified, and everything is written for a reason.
Did you know that there are also very little details, which I wish you could explain to me how they're bad.
@JosephKatana For example, If two people are talking together in a language, and a third person comes in who does not understand the language they're speaking, they immediately have to speak a language which that person understands (if possible) out of respect to that third person, and so that third person doesn't think that they're talking about him.
If you really want to argue against islam, please make the effort with an open mind to understand it, and see it through our eyes.
@JoesephKatana If you don't want to do it that's fine, but don't talk about something you know nothing about.
Oh and keep in mind, all the major news stations, CNN, BBC, NBC, FOX news etc. all focus on islam being bad because that's what people want to believe. If a station decides to show the good in islam the people (especially those whose family died in 9/11) will not trust that station anymore and go to another one. In the end they just want to earn money, not much else.
@9KoubA2 What I have read are large portions of the koran, or at least as much as I could stomach, I saw examples of bigotry and violence against non believers and women, and no matter how YOU interpret it, its clear to the most casual neutral observer that someone who regarded this book as "holy" could EASILY use such passages as justification for violence.
Instead muslim apologists like yourself nit pick a few of the MANY highly restrictive laws of Islam and use them as its representative.
I'd be impressed by a little honesty, do you admit that these passages exist? You know what I'm talking about, I'm sure. Do you admit that these parts of the koran could be interpreted to do great wrong to women and non believers? I don't care how YOU interpret it, but do you see how they can be interpreted to justify wrong doing? (like slavery in the bible)
@JoesephKatana Can you give me the source of where you read about this 'quraan'? Because There are many sources out there which intentionally misinterpret it or spread lies about it in order to make more people against us.
Other than that, passages like that do sort of exist, but ask any sheikh who isn't a madman and he'll explain to you what it properly means. Just because it can be interpretted in a wrong way doesn't mean that it's the quraan's fault, it means it's the person's fault.
@9KoubA2 Or I could ask a pastor to rationalize all the inconsistencies and atrocities in the bible, that doesn't change what it actually says or the way its interpretations were historically put into practice and the applications of it in the present day.
Any holy book that promotes discrimination (women, atheists, other religions, homosexuals) fails to meet my standards of whats "good". I realize that may not be what YOU believe, but its there in the quran and in islamic law.
@JoesephKatana Your argument is flawed. All your information, and sources are complete and utter bullshit. If you bothered to google for 5 mins you would've found this:
Read the article about Freedom and Islam. And you might as well read a few other articles which explain what islam truly is about. Granted, many countries abuse this (like Saudi Arabia) but according to islam they are committing sins, so surely it's not the religion's problem.
@9KoubA2 OK, angry Muslim dude, end whatever discussion you wish, not really my problem. I am however pointing out that you support a religion whose main book says it's OK to kill members that wish to leave.
To me this is incompatible with freedom, specifically religious freedom, and freedom of thought.
I don't need to look for positive stuff about Islam. I am not even interested in it. I am looking at the number of victims, and Islam just happens to be leading everyone else by miles.
"When he [Muhammad] asked him about the rest he refused to produce it, so the apostle gave orders to al-Zubayr bin al-Awwam, “TORTURE HIM until you extract what he has.” So he kindled a fire with flint and steel on his chest until he was nearly dead. Then the apostle delivered him to Muhammad bin Maslama and he struck off his head.” (Ibn Ishaq 764)"
As a happy side note to the story – the man’s brutal murder left a beautiful young widow named Saffiya, whom Muhammad was then able to “marry”. As his biographer tells it, on the day he had her husband killed, the prophet of Islam "passed the night with her in a tent of his." (Ibn Ishaq 517)
But really all of this doesn't concern me. My only concern is Muslims of today being violent, rather than arguing verbally like the rest of us.
@firuinthehouse fascinating. But wrong. At least confirm your sources.
"the source of this story is invalid. Not because the source is weak, but because there is no source!"
^google this for more.
But whatever, continue to hate on islam based on a few crazed individuals, and based on a propaganda website which is focused on spreading hate :)
Oh and the other link i gave you? It proved all your arguments to be false. It was pure fact about Mohamed's life and his tolerance of other religions.
@9KoubA2 Well if you REALLY want to get into all that, try to follow the logic, AGAIN:
1. All people are somewhat crazy, ALL AROUND the world. So crazy or unbalanced people are a given, EVERYWHERE. In 1000 or 1 million people, there's roughly X crazies, by default.
2. Under Islam, these crazies find a way to express their craziness, and draw others into it, FAR better than under ANY religions. This is supported by the reality of the world right now, and also in years past.
@9KoubA2 As far back as we can look, Islam was at war with someone or other, all the way back to its creation, because even the prophet was making war on people, cutting their heads and so forth.
So, given these 2 points - 1 people are similar everywhere, but 2 - they are more violent under Islam - HOW is Islam not the problem ?
Don't you see this ? On average, all things being equal, Islam creates or allows more crazy violent people to do their thing.
@9KoubA2 And you never answered this one question
A person kills another, screaming, with a knife strike to the chest. WHAT is the crazed one most likely to be screaming: Praise Jesus, Praise Shiva, Praise Buddha, or Allahu Akbar!!
Answer that one truthfully, at least for yourself, and you will see where the problem comes from
Of course people are the problem. People have ALWAYS been the problem. That's why religion is even supposed to be there - to make people BETTER than they are without it
@9KoubA2 And to end this, because you are right it doesn't seem to go anywhere good, I am saying I don't expect you to fix the problem, I am not saying you are in any way responsible for all the crazy Muslim killers out there (and there really is a LOT of them)
I am saying you as a sane Muslim should at least accept reality, that there is a problem, that it is NOT simply "the people", and start looking for a solution
Right now you're in denial of the whole issue, you don't even know its there
@9KoubA2 The people have always been the same, imperfect, Islam has been the same and Buddhism has been the same.
And throughout history there has always been more Muslim religious violence, than Buddhist one, for instance. I mean violence and death in the name of the faith.
How can people be the problem ? They've always been the same, and will always remain the same. If we think in those terms there will never be an end to all the crazy bombings. Isn't that obvious ?
I'm not sure if i mentioned to you that all these extremists are, misguided, wrong and are going to hell. It's not the religion. It's a few extremists who spread fallacies about Islam, and in turn have recruited more and more extremists, brainwashing them with lies about the religion. They're not doing this because they hate islam or whatever, they are doing this because they think islam says it's right. But it is not, and islam does not state that.
@firuinthehouse Anyway, I will seek to change this incorrect view of islam, and I will, insha allah prove how many muslims are against what is happening.
Really, Thank you though. You provided me with inspiration and motivation to inform the world about this.
@9KoubA2 Glad I could help. As I stated in the beginning, you do seem like the majority of Muslims, a sane person that can be reasoned with. I hope you will find a way to turn many extremists to the same reasonable views of the world that you hold yourself.
Still not sure if I can agree to your supporting the death penalty for apostasy, but we definitely found some common ground in this discussion, and probably also learned a thing or two.
I never said I agreed with Apostasy, I was only trying to explain the view. But I will see if this is even correct. Most people such as yourself are uninformed of islam, because they believe that Islam tells those terrorists to do what they are doing, when in fact, Islam orders us to do the exact opposite.
@9KoubA2 While reading a third party website that clearly seeks to re-portray Islam in a positive light might be interesting if I lent any credence to religion, I don't care.
And I agree with you, my source was complete and utter bullshit, my source was the koran, and the bullshit part is all the discrimination, hate, and separatism it supports.
People don't like this video (I assume) because they don't like Islam.
The middle east brought a few good things in the world, good food, numbers, some scientific advances back in the day, and some I probably don't know about, and then they also spawned this fucked up religion, that may one day throw us all back into the Dark Ages for a couple of millennia. Maybe that's why 400 ppl (401 with me) pressed the dislike on this video.
@firuinthehouse Dear, what is going to take us back to the Dark Ages are people who hold on to hate and prejudices. This guy Naif (a practicing Muslim) is trying to help build bridges between our worlds while others are trying to ensure that they stay down. Now tell me, who is backward and who is enlightened in this discourse?
@yaahyak I have a prejudice against unfairness and iron age dogma, especially when it gets drug into the modern era by religious zealots. I also have a prejudice against murderers and thieves. But usually I call it a sense of justice, but prejudice works too.
@yaahyak thereligionofpeace. my "hate and prejudice" is comments on youtube. Islam hate and prejudice is murders, amputations, burning alive and ethnic cleansing, far worse than we have had on the time of the Inquisition.
I say we need less islam, not more tolerance of islam. If you can find a way to make islam less prone to create extremist madmen, we will gladly tolerate it, like we do other religions. Those that ARE of peace, not SAY that they are of peace.
@firuinthehouse regardless of what u think about somebody's religion. we will not get far by calling names and hurling insults. regardless of what u think t least people likee naif are trying to build understanding between ppl not seperate
@yaahyak Well it's not what I think of the religion, who cares about my opinion, right?
It's the ACTIONS that speak for themselves. As long as islam is such a source of murders and intolerance, I don't think it should be tolerated, any more than we tolerate sociopaths, rapists and serial killers. Frankly I don't think we can ever have a peaceful planet with islam on it. If I am wrong, try to point out some period in history where Muslims have not been violent and warmongering.
@firuinthehouse What I hav talking about from the beginning was NAIF and his attempts to break down barriers of misunderstanding, not about Islam... but ur so blinded by ur hate none of that matters to you. To me u r the christian or atheist equivalent to an Islamic extremist. U r exactly the same, and as long as people like u continue to chat hate - it will be that prevents peace on earth.
@yaahyak I am saying that it's good of Naif, as a Muslim, to do anything other than blowing people up. For that I to appreciate him quite a bit.
As for me "chatting hate" this is really NOT what prevents peace. If Muslims would be trolling in here like crazy, there would be peace. It's Muslims KILLING PEOPLE they don't agree with, NOT everybody else disagreeing verbally, in peace.
I am allowed to disagree and even hate whoever, as long as I TALK about it. It's called FREEDOM.
@firuinthehouse *part1* Do you realise that there are many MANY extremists out there that are not muslim? Naif just pointed out the Hindu extremists and the Jewish Orthodox extremists.
There are extremists of all religions, but the media never talks about them. It only shows you the Muslim extremists, with all the negative propaganda and doesn't show you the many good things and good values of Islam.
I can personally tell you what happened in 9/11, if it really was a "muslim" who did it (the way the towers fell I believe otherwise) that, according to islam, this "muslim" is going to hell. Why? Because he killed many innocent people including women, children, and yes even muslims. Considering the chances I bet you there were muslims in the twin towers. If he had killed Israeli military for example then that's another story, as those are directly hurting muslims.
@9KoubA2 My friend you seem like one of the many "sane" Muslims out there, who can think and reason. And there is many of you, probably more than 90% of Muslims worldwide.
The problem is that the rest, that % that are extremists. The % of Islam is MUCH higher than for any other faith. Sure there are others as well, but look at the numbers and compare. Islam causes more violence EACH DAY than ALL other religions on the planet, combined
Go to thereligionofpeace com (the site) and see more there
@9KoubA2 (part 2) and by the % of Islam I mean the % of Muslims that turn out militant extremists (and of course violent), compared to the % of Hindus, Christians, Buddhists etc, that turn extremist.
You're supposed to tell the truth under Islam, correct? If that is so, you tell me, compared to Buddhism for example, do you really think you deserve the name "The Religion of Peace"?
Compare the real number of killings, either this year or throughout history, and then answer truthfully.
I'm not sure who named it 'The Religion of Peace' (first time I heard that), but to be honest, despite the fact that there are extremists, what they are doing has nothing to do with our religion. what you said about the the %age of extremists might be true, I'm not sure. The thing is, there will always be extremists. Islam is not the cause, and if Islam were to suddenly die out, there will be different extremists to replace them.
@9KoubA2 Well in places where there's no Islam, there are very few, IF ANY religious extremists. In places where there's a lot of Islam, there are also a lot of extremists. RELIGIOUS extremists.
Coincidence ?
Maybe under Islam logic you;re allowed, or even forced to think that, but for me, if that is the situation, then Islam is CLEARLY the cause of religious extremism & violence.
@firuinthehouse This year? Perhaps. But i'm not really following the news so lets not talk about it. But throughout history? I doubt it. What about the Huns? Mongolians? The christian church vs. scientists? Those are only off the top of my head, I would to research to properly find out answers.
My point is, hate the people, not the religion. The religion is not causing it. They're just using it as an excuse to hate, to kill. If it wasn't there, they'd use a different excuse.

This entire discussion/video shows me two things:

Is he wrong?

In the times we are in right now, all that we need is patience and optimism. We need not only to expect good out of others, but also the confidence that we are also good and want peace. There is so much confusion in the society that people can't even understand what they want and what they are. I can say with utmost certainty that many here are thumbing this down because they know that the speaker's Muslim and so most of what he's saying is gonna come out as drivel either way because your brain just doesn't want to register what he's saying.
ManicMindTrick 1 year ago
@ManicMindTrick what is worse... 15,000 dead due to terrorist (which 9/11 was not that many), or 100k civlians dead while hunting down terrorists? Becuase that is the iraq war only. 150k civilians dead, and 2 million displayed, to kill 50k. If you group dead civilians, wounded, and displaced civilians in the name of fighting terrorism, you have 8 civilians lives ruined to remove one terrorist life. Who are the terrorists again? Religion or democracy?

Did you forget Luke 19 verse 27? "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me."
The problem for you my brother in faith (as you should know that Islam comes from Muhammad that is a descendent of Ishmael, and his brother Isaac led to Jesus and Christianity, peace be upon all of them) is that you learn Islam from false propaganda. Please next time, before you criticize other religions, look into your own.

ManicMindTrick 1 year ago

His later comment tells me otherwise.
someman7 1 year ago
@someman7 He is saying to turn a crucifix into a swastika. To take religion and bend it and twist it so it isn't even symbolize the same message. He was not trying to cite the source of the swastika.
bluefootedpig 1 year ago
@bluefootedpig But nazis didn't do that. Instead they substituted the religion for Nazi ideology. If anything, they fancied paganism. What I said stands.
someman7 1 year ago
@someman7 You are missing the expression he is saying. He is not stating a fact that they turned a crucifix into a swastika, he is merely using an expression of bending religion into something else.
bluefootedpig 1 year ago

No, Bruce Wayne saw a bat and this inspired him to do what he was already going to do, but dressed up as a bat.
Spiderman was bit by a spider that came from above because Spiders hang from ceilings.
Superman was sent from outer space because saying that he is alien is a convenient way of explaining his being superhuman from birth.

JoesephKatana 1 year ago
@JoesephKatana Why do you want the children to dance with instruments on their heads, become Alcoholics, make fun of Prophets who changed people's life in a positive way, fornicate in public? n we don't have anything against dogs.
I don't care what u do in ur personal life, but don't have sex advertising in public and have sex in public its DISGUSTING, just provide a safe environment for children.
I cant impose my values upon u, why r u imposing urs on us?
UtubeUser786786 1 year ago
@UtubeUser786786
JoesephKatana 1 year ago
@JoesephKatana The positive message of Islam is all about child-molestation.
If you're into child molestation and want to do it legally, with no limits, go in a nice Islamic country. There you can marry preteen girls without any problems, and they're yours to do with as you please.
When they grow up, accuse them of adultery, or just divorce them, and get more preteens. Rinse and repeat, and presto - the "Peace of Islam" at its finest :)
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@JoesephKatana *part 1* At least do some research before making your bullshit statement. Any good is coincidental? Really? Let me get back to you on that
Also i'm sorry, and banning alcohol is a bad thing? Has alcohol ever brought anything good? It lead to drunk driving, mindless drunk sex which brought unwanted pregnancies, alcoholism. Tell me the good in any of that.
And back to this 'coincidental' bullshit. Do you know that interest banking is banned in islam?
*cont*
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@JosephKatana *part 2*
Look at the crisis of credit. It happened all because of interest banking. That's why taking a loan and paying back more etc. is forbidden in islam.
Also gambling for example. How many times have you heard the story of a person who gambled all his money away and could no longer support his family?
If all of this knowledge is common sense and any child could figure it out, explain to me why all of these still exist and aren't frowned upon?
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 And I fail to find anything good about Islam, by your logic I should think Islam should be banned. But I don't, everyone has freedom to do what they will. This is precisely the problem I have with Islam, it bans so much and its holy book is full of passages that are easily interpreted in ways that justify violence, bigotry and misogyny.
If I wanted to read blanket general statements in favor of Islam I'd go to Islam apologetic websites.
JoesephKatana 1 year ago
@JoesephKatana Tell me, how much do you really know about what the quraan says? Do you honestly believe that everything you have read, if you really have read it, is interpretted correctly? Most likely what you've read is translated/interpretted by someone who opposed islam. Thus, their priority will be to find a negative interpretation. If you really want to say this properly, then find a proper translation/interpretation of the quraan and islam in general before making these statements.
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@JoesephKatana Another thing. You fail to find anything good about islam because you're not even trying to look. That's your fault.
Please, please, please tell me what's good about any of these? What's good about Alcohol? Or sex with someone who you won't get married to? Or Gambling? Are you honestly that upset that these things are banned? The quraan also bans murder, rape, robbery. Are you also going to say that these things shouldnt' be banned?
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@JoesephKatana Is it a problem for murder to be banned by islam? You might say that Murder, stealing, and rape all affect other people, but so does gambling, alcohol, and sex before marriage. Everything in the quraan is justified, and everything is written for a reason.
Did you know that there are also very little details, which I wish you could explain to me how they're bad.
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@JosephKatana For example, If two people are talking together in a language, and a third person comes in who does not understand the language they're speaking, they immediately have to speak a language which that person understands (if possible) out of respect to that third person, and so that third person doesn't think that they're talking about him.
If you really want to argue against islam, please make the effort with an open mind to understand it, and see it through our eyes.
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@JoesephKatana If you don't want to do it that's fine, but don't talk about something you know nothing about.
Oh and keep in mind, all the major news stations, CNN, BBC, NBC, FOX news etc. all focus on islam being bad because that's what people want to believe. If a station decides to show the good in islam the people (especially those whose family died in 9/11) will not trust that station anymore and go to another one. In the end they just want to earn money, not much else.
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 What I have read are large portions of the koran, or at least as much as I could stomach, I saw examples of bigotry and violence against non believers and women, and no matter how YOU interpret it, its clear to the most casual neutral observer that someone who regarded this book as "holy" could EASILY use such passages as justification for violence.
Instead muslim apologists like yourself nit pick a few of the MANY highly restrictive laws of Islam and use them as its representative.
JoesephKatana 1 year ago
@9KoubA2
JoesephKatana 1 year ago
@JoesephKatana Can you give me the source of where you read about this 'quraan'? Because There are many sources out there which intentionally misinterpret it or spread lies about it in order to make more people against us.
Other than that, passages like that do sort of exist, but ask any sheikh who isn't a madman and he'll explain to you what it properly means. Just because it can be interpretted in a wrong way doesn't mean that it's the quraan's fault, it means it's the person's fault.
9KoubA2 1 year ago

Islamfortoday(dot)com(slash)fundamentalism(dot)htm
Read the article about Freedom and Islam. And you might as well read a few other articles which explain what islam truly is about. Granted, many countries abuse this (like Saudi Arabia) but according to islam they are committing sins, so surely it's not the religion's problem.
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 OK, angry Muslim dude, end whatever discussion you wish, not really my problem. I am however pointing out that you support a religion whose main book says it's OK to kill members that wish to leave.
To me this is incompatible with freedom, specifically religious freedom, and freedom of thought.
I don't need to look for positive stuff about Islam. I am not even interested in it. I am looking at the number of victims, and Islam just happens to be leading everyone else by miles.
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 Mo never tortured people ? :)
Your books not mine
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 But wait, there's more:
Peace and truth to you :)
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse fascinating. But wrong. At least confirm your sources.
"the source of this story is invalid. Not because the source is weak, but because there is no source!"
^google this for more.
But whatever, continue to hate on islam based on a few crazed individuals, and based on a propaganda website which is focused on spreading hate :)
Oh and the other link i gave you? It proved all your arguments to be false. It was pure fact about Mohamed's life and his tolerance of other religions.
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 Well if you REALLY want to get into all that, try to follow the logic, AGAIN:
1. All people are somewhat crazy, ALL AROUND the world. So crazy or unbalanced people are a given, EVERYWHERE. In 1000 or 1 million people, there's roughly X crazies, by default.
2. Under Islam, these crazies find a way to express their craziness, and draw others into it, FAR better than under ANY religions. This is supported by the reality of the world right now, and also in years past.
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 As far back as we can look, Islam was at war with someone or other, all the way back to its creation, because even the prophet was making war on people, cutting their heads and so forth.
So, given these 2 points - 1 people are similar everywhere, but 2 - they are more violent under Islam - HOW is Islam not the problem ?
Don't you see this ? On average, all things being equal, Islam creates or allows more crazy violent people to do their thing.
This is REALITY, it happens RIGHT NOW!
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 And you never answered this one question
A person kills another, screaming, with a knife strike to the chest. WHAT is the crazed one most likely to be screaming: Praise Jesus, Praise Shiva, Praise Buddha, or Allahu Akbar!!
Answer that one truthfully, at least for yourself, and you will see where the problem comes from
Of course people are the problem. People have ALWAYS been the problem. That's why religion is even supposed to be there - to make people BETTER than they are without it
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 And to end this, because you are right it doesn't seem to go anywhere good, I am saying I don't expect you to fix the problem, I am not saying you are in any way responsible for all the crazy Muslim killers out there (and there really is a LOT of them)
I am saying you as a sane Muslim should at least accept reality, that there is a problem, that it is NOT simply "the people", and start looking for a solution
Right now you're in denial of the whole issue, you don't even know its there
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 The people have always been the same, imperfect, Islam has been the same and Buddhism has been the same.
And throughout history there has always been more Muslim religious violence, than Buddhist one, for instance. I mean violence and death in the name of the faith.
How can people be the problem ? They've always been the same, and will always remain the same. If we think in those terms there will never be an end to all the crazy bombings. Isn't that obvious ?
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse Anyway, I will seek to change this incorrect view of islam, and I will, insha allah prove how many muslims are against what is happening.
Really, Thank you though. You provided me with inspiration and motivation to inform the world about this.
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 Glad I could help. As I stated in the beginning, you do seem like the majority of Muslims, a sane person that can be reasoned with. I hope you will find a way to turn many extremists to the same reasonable views of the world that you hold yourself.
Still not sure if I can agree to your supporting the death penalty for apostasy, but we definitely found some common ground in this discussion, and probably also learned a thing or two.
Be well :)
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse
I never said I agreed with Apostasy, I was only trying to explain the view. But I will see if this is even correct. Most people such as yourself are uninformed of islam, because they believe that Islam tells those terrorists to do what they are doing, when in fact, Islam orders us to do the exact opposite.
Peace be upon you :)
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 While reading a third party website that clearly seeks to re-portray Islam in a positive light might be interesting if I lent any credence to religion, I don't care.
And I agree with you, my source was complete and utter bullshit, my source was the koran, and the bullshit part is all the discrimination, hate, and separatism it supports.

grief... 400 dislikes? Really? People need to see beyond their prejudices and stop thinking like neanderthals.
yaahyak 1 year ago
@yaahyak Umm.. say what now ?
People don't like this video (I assume) because they don't like Islam.
The middle east brought a few good things in the world, good food, numbers, some scientific advances back in the day, and some I probably don't know about, and then they also spawned this fucked up religion, that may one day throw us all back into the Dark Ages for a couple of millennia. Maybe that's why 400 ppl (401 with me) pressed the dislike on this video.
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse Dear, what is going to take us back to the Dark Ages are people who hold on to hate and prejudices. This guy Naif (a practicing Muslim) is trying to help build bridges between our worlds while others are trying to ensure that they stay down. Now tell me, who is backward and who is enlightened in this discourse?
yaahyak 1 year ago
@yaahyak I have a prejudice against unfairness and iron age dogma, especially when it gets drug into the modern era by religious zealots. I also have a prejudice against murderers and thieves. But usually I call it a sense of justice, but prejudice works too.
JoesephKatana 1 year ago
@yaahyak thereligionofpeace. my "hate and prejudice" is comments on youtube. Islam hate and prejudice is murders, amputations, burning alive and ethnic cleansing, far worse than we have had on the time of the Inquisition.
I say we need less islam, not more tolerance of islam. If you can find a way to make islam less prone to create extremist madmen, we will gladly tolerate it, like we do other religions. Those that ARE of peace, not SAY that they are of peace.
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse regardless of what u think about somebody's religion. we will not get far by calling names and hurling insults. regardless of what u think t least people likee naif are trying to build understanding between ppl not seperate
yaahyak 1 year ago
@yaahyak Well it's not what I think of the religion, who cares about my opinion, right?
It's the ACTIONS that speak for themselves. As long as islam is such a source of murders and intolerance, I don't think it should be tolerated, any more than we tolerate sociopaths, rapists and serial killers. Frankly I don't think we can ever have a peaceful planet with islam on it. If I am wrong, try to point out some period in history where Muslims have not been violent and warmongering.
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse What I hav talking about from the beginning was NAIF and his attempts to break down barriers of misunderstanding, not about Islam... but ur so blinded by ur hate none of that matters to you. To me u r the christian or atheist equivalent to an Islamic extremist. U r exactly the same, and as long as people like u continue to chat hate - it will be that prevents peace on earth.
yaahyak 1 year ago
@yaahyak I am saying that it's good of Naif, as a Muslim, to do anything other than blowing people up. For that I to appreciate him quite a bit.
As for me "chatting hate" this is really NOT what prevents peace. If Muslims would be trolling in here like crazy, there would be peace. It's Muslims KILLING PEOPLE they don't agree with, NOT everybody else disagreeing verbally, in peace.
I am allowed to disagree and even hate whoever, as long as I TALK about it. It's called FREEDOM.
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse *part1* Do you realise that there are many MANY extremists out there that are not muslim? Naif just pointed out the Hindu extremists and the Jewish Orthodox extremists.
There are extremists of all religions, but the media never talks about them. It only shows you the Muslim extremists, with all the negative propaganda and doesn't show you the many good things and good values of Islam.
*cont*
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse *part 2*
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 My friend you seem like one of the many "sane" Muslims out there, who can think and reason. And there is many of you, probably more than 90% of Muslims worldwide.
The problem is that the rest, that % that are extremists. The % of Islam is MUCH higher than for any other faith. Sure there are others as well, but look at the numbers and compare. Islam causes more violence EACH DAY than ALL other religions on the planet, combined
Go to thereligionofpeace com (the site) and see more there
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 (part 2) and by the % of Islam I mean the % of Muslims that turn out militant extremists (and of course violent), compared to the % of Hindus, Christians, Buddhists etc, that turn extremist.
You're supposed to tell the truth under Islam, correct? If that is so, you tell me, compared to Buddhism for example, do you really think you deserve the name "The Religion of Peace"?
Compare the real number of killings, either this year or throughout history, and then answer truthfully.
Peace.
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse
9KoubA2 1 year ago
@9KoubA2 Well in places where there's no Islam, there are very few, IF ANY religious extremists. In places where there's a lot of Islam, there are also a lot of extremists. RELIGIOUS extremists.
Coincidence ?
Maybe under Islam logic you;re allowed, or even forced to think that, but for me, if that is the situation, then Islam is CLEARLY the cause of religious extremism & violence.
firuinthehouse 1 year ago
@firuinthehouse This year? Perhaps. But i'm not really following the news so lets not talk about it. But throughout history? I doubt it. What about the Huns? Mongolians? The christian church vs. scientists? Those are only off the top of my head, I would to research to properly find out answers.
My point is, hate the people, not the religion. The religion is not causing it. They're just using it as an excuse to hate, to kill. If it wasn't there, they'd use a different excuse.
