  • I take it they were all hauling burger buns ; )

  • Nice video. All I can say is come this summer I'll have to make a trip out there! Don't blame you for not getting out of your car!! Been there and done that! Lol.

  • Hauling ass around there!

  • trains come alot

  • I would guess trying to cross those tracks you have to be fast since they come along very timely. and on the clock with the trains that run by.

  • its ture.. I used to live near buttermilk curve. real nice watching trains .. they are up to speed here but usually keep it below 70 mph nowadays as far as i kin tell . Buttermilk curve (we call it hill and dead man's curve) is just west of gothenburg ne.

  • So .. what with ALL trains .. approaching (ON a curve .. and .. given the approach speeds of most .. ? Do YOU think it's afe enough YET -- to attempt to cross over -- at that point (or wouldn't it be a lot safer .. giving that crossing the slip -- and just USE a bridge .. somewhere else) Huh ... ?

  • Bro, all I can say is WTF! I didn't know spots like this existed outside of Fostoria, Ohio. Even in Fostoria, you can't see every train that comes through because of 3 different mainlines. In this video, every train passed right in front of you without you having to leave to catch a train in a totally different mainline. Awesome!

  • @csx5400 Ive been to Fostoria back in 89 and it was busy back then but you could only catch 2 of 3 lines. A lot of moving around. Here, just sit and relax!!!

  • Holy hell! I should go there! The only track I have here by me is the saltlake to Denver line and I'm lucky to catch five to ten trains a day and that's a busy day lol. But shit eighteen trains in two hours?? Awesome video!

  • 0:03 That sounds like a tornado approaching

  • Now this is the way to railfan. Damn!! You guys in NE have all the fun. Though, terrain-wise, I will stay in the Northwest :)

  • @NWRailfan01 We sure do. We have the headquarter of the RR, and we have the mainline and the world's largest freight yard.

  • @dylanbobby1 I know Mr. Warren Buffet lives in NE as well. Which his company is now 100% owners of BNSF. NE also is host to UP's North Platte Bailey Yard. Great catch on the railfanning. Hope to see some more :)

  • An absolute freeway of trains, and at good speed! You nusta felt like you were watching a Jimmy Connors tennis match, dude. The BNSF Transcon can't touch this for density and compression of activity. Thanks for briniging it here.

  • @gvtuber Hey no problem. Thanks for watching also. I've been wanting to get back out there but not in the summer months....too hot

  • WOW!!! IS THIS THE BUISIEST LINE ON THE UP?!?

  • @Trainking922 I do believe it is. A few years ago from when this video was made, this line was averaging 160 trains a day. When I was out there, it was down to about 125-140 a day....still, a lot of trains

  • highway 30!!! <33333333 i took that from colorado back to iowa tons of trains

  • great video caught some different units sp- ferromex etc.

  • this is like the god of all places to watch trains =D

  • That CSX AC6000CW must be rare I live in a CSX area and I hardly see AC6000CWs I just see Gevos

  • wow we live in GErmany at an Ice track we could see 8 Train at least an hour

  • wow nice catch on the second 0:39 with this FERROMEX LOCO great video 5*

  • Great video! I love coming up there to watch trains, but probably will wait until it's warmer. :)

  • I thought Thanksgiving Day was going to be tolerable but I was wrong. It was a damp cold of about 5 degrees with a wind. I'm thinking about a May arrival out there. Weather should be decent by then

  • WOW, train meets just about throughout the entire video.

    Awesome!

  • with a triple meet almost made it, off about a minute :(

Thats what I wanted to catch. I did pace 2 westbound empties racing each other with a couple of triple meets

  • This is the most travel railline next to Eastern Corridor near New york and New jersey area.

  • This tripple track in Nebraska carries the most tonage in the country. I don't know about actual number of trains though.

  • When the videos were made, it was around 160+ a day. It was before the down turn in the economy and UP losing a lot of coal contracts to the BNSF

  • The nearest rival to this track might be the Barstow-Dagget Calif segment. It was also recently triple-tracked. It contains the huge BNSF mainline and the UP line from LA to Salt Lake.

  • WOW!!!!!

    That many in two hours.

    HOLY COW!!!!!!

  • Kick ass location. You even managed to snag 3 old Southern Pacific "bloody noses".

  • Never seen so many trains before. Where I live, lucky to hear 1 or 2 trains a day. Awesome.

  • Damn, where do you live?

  • Northern West Virginia

  • Ah, I'm not suprised, are they coal trains on CSX?

  • Yes they are.

  • Haha I knew it!

  • Sweet!

  • how many come though here a day?

  • nice catch on the CSX AC60 unit

  • AHH! Train Assault! Nice Vid.

  • What Union Pacific Sub is this?

  • UP's Kearney Sub, I would think.

  • Great Action Shots.

What is the grade and where is the high point?

What program did you use to edit your video?

Where all the shot from the same side of the tracks?

  • At about 1:48, Thats really cool how they both meet!
