Let your Spirit follow me (repeat)

If in the desert, I'll find pleasure

If in the valley i really don't care

    Shadows of blackness

I'l never falter as long as you're there

A SONG...THAT WAS ACTUALLY A REFLECTION OF A LIFE BIRTHED THROUGH OBEDIENCE and SURRENDER. Thank you Ronald, thank you for leaving your melodies in the earth...and may they sing on!

  • Truly annointed of God...speaks to my very soul, gives me hope that although my Great-Grandma has passed on, her spirit will remain with me until I too join the Heavenly Journey.

  • I came upon this video tonite. Thank you for this posting. I saw the Winans in concert at home in St. Lous many years ago. This song truly blesses me. It does'nt seem like Ronald is gone. When I moved here to Atlanat, my daughter took me to the restaurant and all the pics brought back memories. Love You!

  • This song also carried me in those uncertain times, even now. No matter what you do or where you go...Always invite the Holy Spirit to go along with you...

  • This song brings back memories. I remember when I was at a point of contemplating on taking my own life, and I heard the song by Bebe & Cece, "Its Ok" and this song came on afterwards...I can actually say that God saved my life, and touched my spirit with this song.

  • May GOD continue to Bless you!!! He saved me to from myself!!!

  • @RatedR005

I want you to know as someone who was left behind by someone that took their life. This song healed me.

  • @RatedR005 Im so glad you didnt!!! Your Lifes story ministers.

  • @RatedR005 Beautiful...well said!

  • @RatedR005 Very nice comment....I danced to this many times and everytime I do I cry while dancing....The holy spirit is all over this one!

  • @RatedR005 thank God that he came to touch you through this amazing family. No matter how hard our problems are he is there to help us. The devil, as real as he is in all his unholiness is there to try and make us forget that he is there helping us even in our worse times. Be encourage and of good cheer because we have a comforter who is there to help us get rid and unburden our problems on him. to give us the comfort we need. Sometimes we forget because we let our problems consume us. Pray!!!

  • @RatedR005 I thank God for His spirit and always being there for His babies. God bless you!!!

  • I grew up on the WINANS and this was one of my favorite songs. Just singing the words and watching the late Ron Winans gives me goose bumps! Something the old school saints know all about.

  • Amen, The Winans is where it's at!!! Once I discovered them in my youth, they were all that I played

  • Lord, Donnie what is up with that green suit.LOL.Grew up on the winans and I love this song. I like the part that they added too "wherever!" beautiful harmony. We love yo Ron!

  • Bless the Lord!

  • If he don't look like the young pop winans I just don't know who do, dats amazin

  • I always sing or play this song when I am at my lowest. Thanks for this post. God bless the memory of Elder Winans

  • My most favorite and anointed Psalm by these brothers! Thanks for posting!

  • Truly Inspirational.

  • What album is this song on?

  • This song is on "The Winans Return" I think this was the best LP they put out.

  • How did he die?

  • He had a massive heart attack a few years back and battled complications since!

  • His music is sooo soothing

  • yes..i miss him sooo much.

  • He passed from congested heat failure in June of 2005.

  • I miss Ron Winans.....(sad sigh)....Well, at least he's home with Jesus....

  • i love his voice.

  • wow!!....this one is soul deep. Thank you Ronald.....we miss you.

  • Classic clip! The late great Ronald Winans gracing the microphone as only he could, Donnie Mcklurkin directing the choir! WOW!!!

  • Lord have mercy! We do Miss Brother Ronald Winans! I remember buying the tape to this back in the day, yes, audio tape, and I wore it out. I use to cry and cleans spiritually and emotionally listening to this on so long walks. One never knows how or when GOD touches a person in this world. Like Elder Brown said, Hallelujah!!!

  • Hallelujah!!!

  • This is my absolute favorite song from any artist ever!

  • One of Detroit's Finest. Home with the Lord.

God is able. Let's cont. to pray for Carlton Pearson and his family. Pray works. That's what brought me in. Surly it will bring him back. I beleive God. Is there anybody out there that believe's God with me. Faith Faith Faith!!!!!!!!

  • OMG! Ronald was so smooth with it. I was there that week. That was the 1st time I saw Pastor Marvin preach live. I was so blessed by the Azusa conferences.

  • they sound simlairly but they voices are different styles, ron can sing but he is laid back

  • I remember singing this song with my High School Gospel choir that I directed. Absolutely love it!

  • I think this is a great song...Song of Consecration is probably one of my favorites.

The only thing about this song is that it seems it would be greater to be led by the spirit than to have the spirit follow you. I haven't always went the right way, and quite frankly I'd be embarrassed to have the spirit "follow" me into some of those places.

  • God God A mighty. ?I just left 'A song oF consecration" Now this """"""I need some ushers and some hankerchiefs or some Kleenex

  • Jesus...

    What an anointing...what a song...

the sad part of this video is that Bishop Pearson has fallen so far away from this...he was so instrumental in bringing so many singers and preachers to the forefront...makes you kinda sad to see him now...

  • Judge not lest ye also be judged. God knows Bishop Pearson's heart.

  • Yes......God knows brother Pearson's heart, but I've heard and watched his interviews on national television, and he has fallen away from the truth.

  • So true.... when I heard him say "Everybody is saved they, just don't know it" That made me think if that is that case why would we have confess Jesus as Lord.

  • It saddens me too...

  • I'm a praise dancer and I dance to this song quite a bit. My first dance to this song was back in 1992 and I still dance to it today..very powerful song...I love it..

  • i miss the group. i remember them when i was like 7 or 8. my mom had me rocking to this song, everyday the same, and its time. mmmmm i have not heard this song in years thanks for the post.i miss Ron,and the group.God Bless

  • love this song

  • One of my favorite songs!!! Whereever I go... LORD LET YOUR SPIRIT FOLLOW ME

  • Well i have to agree with solo427. Ron sounds like a laid back version of Marvin.

  • Ronald and Marvin sound almost identical!

  • I love this song! My church use to sing this song for benediction. It gives you such a reassurance God is in control. And I also agree Marvin and Ron does sound the same, but differ in style.

  • This song and the song Tomorrow, are they from one album or different albums? I am not a huge gospel person but certain songs just are etched in my memory as really deep and spiritual. This happens to be one of those songs. RIP Ron Winans.

  • this song just moves me!!...I love it!

  • When they sing low.

  • Check out my dudes hair...the 90s were crazy

  • I didn't realize how Ron and Marvin sounds so much alike, almost exact.

  • they don't sound alike at all to me

  • Listen to the winans music and you will notice it.

  • yes in certain parts of the song if you were not watching the video you would think it was Marvin....it's all good though. kinda like at 1:35 wit that ummmmhuummm.lol

  • @mymusicvideos1991

You have to admit to there being a "Winan's sound". All great groups/families have their own sound.

  • @mymusicvideos1991 They have the same TONE of voice. But theyre styles of singing differs just a tad bit. Marvin is more technicle.

  • @mymusicvideos1991 If you close your eyes and listen to them wow, they sound just alike.

  • @Tlove201 - I thought the same thing!! Then I realized I shouldn't have been so surprised: They are brothers after all. LOL. For years, I thought Marvin sung this song

  • Wow, thats Donnie directing the choir.

  • sound kinda like Marvin! xD

  • Kinda? They sounded almost the same, lol

  • I have been looking for this song for a VERY LONG time! Marvin Winans sang it at my church, City of Refuge, and it really touched my spirit. I finally got a chance to hear it again. -Antwoine

  • I've been looking for this song too. Marvin Winans sang this at the Convocation last year during the Friday Midnight Music. This song moved and touched me and took me in. I had never heard this before that. In this clip Ron and Marvin sound alike.

  • the winans are the best musical family ever. amazing music for decades!!

  • I listen to this as often as possible. Is Marvin Winans on the organ?

  • This has been my favorite "prayer song" of all time. Bring's tears to my eyes everytime I hear it. God is so good! Praise him! Maybe one day I'll be able to sing this song.

  • Amen me too!

  • I remember listening to this song as a child, I loved it then but now that I can really understand it, My God what a prayer to pray.

  • I grew up with this song too, but I never learned the whole thing. Thank you so much for posting this song. Now I can learn it and sing it. Praise God!

  • My all time favorite song...To God be the glory. Let your spirit follow me LORD!!

  • I was in attendance in 93 i love this song wha a gift from God

  • Ronald Winans passed away?

  • two years ago....

  • Thanks for the Winans videos. God bless!
